<p class="bodytext">Now, brothers and sisters,<n id="1" /> you know about the household of Stephanus, that as the first converts<n id="2" /> of Achaia, they devoted themselves to ministry for the saints. I urge you

to the church of God that is in Corinth,<n id="1" /> to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, and called to be saints, with all those in every place who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.<n id="2" />

But just as it is written, &#8220;<i><b>Things that no eye has seenb>, <b>or ear heardb>, <b>or mind imaginedb>,i><n id="1" /> <i><b>are the things God has prepared for those who love himb>.i>&#8221;<n id="2" />

&#8220;Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both.&#8221;<n id="1" /> The body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

<p class="bodytext">To the rest I say &#8211; I, not the Lord<n id="1" /> &#8211; if a brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is happy to live with him, he should not divorce her.

But if the unbeliever wants a divorce, let it take place. In these circumstances the brother or sister is not bound.<n id="1" /> God has called you in peace.

The eye cannot say to the hand, &#8220;I do not need you,&#8221; nor in turn can the head say to the foot, &#8220;I do not need you.&#8221;
