<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;But as for that day and hour no one knows it &#8211; not even the angels in heaven<n id="1" /> &#8211; except the Father alone.

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;When<n id="1" /> the Son of Man comes in his glory and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.

&#8220;You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be handed over<n id="1" /> to be crucified.&#8221;<n id="2" />

and said to him, &#8220;If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down. For it is written, &#8216;<b><i>He will command his angels concerning youi>b>&#8217;<n id="1" /> and &#8216;<b><i>with their hands they will lift you up, so that you will not strike your foot against a stonei>b>.&#8217;&#8221;<n id="2" />

Jesus said to him, &#8220;Foxes have dens, and the birds in the sky<n id="1" /> have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.&#8221;<n id="2" />

But so that you may know<n id="1" /> that the Son of Man<n id="2" /> has authority on earth to forgive sins&#8221; &#8211; then he said to the paralytic<n id="3" /> &#8211; &#8220;Stand up, take your stretcher, and go home.&#8221;<n id="4" />

Whenever<n id="1" /> they persecute you in one place,<n id="2" /> flee to another. I tell you the truth,<n id="3" /> you will not finish going through all the towns<n id="4" /> of Israel before the Son of Man comes.p>

The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, &#8216;Look at him,<n id="1" /> a glutton and a drunk, a friend of tax collectors<n id="2" /> and sinners!&#8217;<n id="3" /> But wisdom is vindicated<n id="4" /> by her deeds.&#8221;<n id="5" />p>

For just as Jonah was <b><i>in the belly of the huge fishi>b><n id="1" /> <i><b>for three days and three nightsb>i>,<n id="2" /> so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.

Isn&#8217;t this the carpenter&#8217;s son? Isn&#8217;t his mother named Mary?<n id="1" /> And aren&#8217;t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas?

A<n id="1" /> Canaanite woman from that area came<n id="2" /> and cried out,<n id="3" /> &#8220;Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is horribly demon-possessed!&#8221;

For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then <i>he will reward each person according to what he has donei>.<n id="1" />

While he was still speaking, a<n id="1" /> bright cloud<n id="2" /> overshadowed<n id="3" /> them, and a voice from the cloud said,<n id="4" /> &#8220;This is my one dear Son,<n id="5" /> in whom I take great delight. Listen to him!&#8221;<n id="6" />

<p class="bodytext">As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Do not tell anyone about the vision until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.&#8221;

And I tell you that Elijah has already come. Yet they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they wanted. In<n id="1" /> the same way, the Son of Man will suffer at their hands.&#8221;

Then he came to the disciples and said to them, &#8220;Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is approaching, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

But Jesus was silent. The<n id="1" /> high priest said to him, &#8220;I charge you under oath by the living God, tell us if you are the Christ,<n id="2" /> the Son of God.&#8221;

and saying, &#8220;You who can destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself!<n id="1" /> If you are God&#8217;s Son, come down<n id="2" /> from the cross!&#8221;

Now when the centurion<n id="1" /> and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and what took place, they were extremely terrified and said, &#8220;Truly this one was God&#8217;s Son!&#8221;

When he had contemplated this, an<n id="1" /> angel of the Lord<n id="2" /> appeared to him in a dream and said, &#8220;Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because the child conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
