If anyone wants to do God&#8217;s will,<n id="1" /> he will know about my teaching, whether it is from God or whether I speak from my own authority.<n id="2" />

We know that God doesn&#8217;t listen to<n id="1" /> sinners, but if anyone is devout<n id="2" /> and does his will, God<n id="3" /> listens to<n id="4" /> him.<n id="5" />

<p class="otpoetry">&#8220;<i><b>Then I saidb>,i> &#8216;<b><i>Here I am:i>b><n id="1" /> <i><b>I have come &#8211; it is written of me in the scroll of the book &#8211; to do your willb>, <b>O Godb>.i>&#8217;&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

then he says, &#8220;<b><i>Here I am:i>b> <b><i>I have come to do your willi>b>.&#8221;<n id="1" /> He does away with<n id="2" /> the first to establish the second.

And the world is passing away with all its desires, but the person who does the will of God remains<n id="1" /> forever.p>

<p class="bodytext">And this is the confidence that we have before him: that<n id="1" /> whenever<n id="2" /> we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;Not everyone who says to me, &#8216;Lord, Lord,&#8217;<n id="1" /> will enter into the kingdom of heaven &#8211; only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.

He went away a second time and prayed,<n id="1" /> &#8220;My Father, if this cup<n id="2" /> cannot be taken away unless I drink it, your will must be done.&#8221;

Now this is the will of the one who sent me &#8211; that I should not lose one person of every one he has given me, but raise them all up<n id="1" /> at the last day.

For this is the will of my Father &#8211; for everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him to have eternal life, and I will raise him up<n id="1" /> at the last day.&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

Then he said, &#8216;The God of our ancestors<n id="1" /> has already chosen<n id="2" /> you to know his will, to see<n id="3" /> the Righteous One,<n id="4" /> and to hear a command<n id="5" /> from his mouth,

Do not be conformed<n id="1" /> to this present world,<n id="2" /> but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve<n id="3" /> what is the will of God &#8211; what is good and well-pleasing and perfect.p>

<p class="bodytext">With regard to our brother Apollos: I strongly encouraged him to visit you with the other brothers,<n id="1" /> but it was simply not his intention to come now.<n id="2" /> He will come when he has the opportunity.p>

who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from this present evil age according to the will of our God and Father,

equip you with every good thing to do his will, working in us<n id="1" /> what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever.<n id="2" /> Amen.p>

Which of the two did his father&#8217;s will?&#8221; They said, &#8220;The first.&#8221;<n id="1" /> Jesus said to them, &#8220;I tell you the truth,<n id="2" /> tax collectors<n id="3" /> and prostitutes will go ahead of you into the kingdom of God!
