The <sc>Lordsc> was with Joseph. He was successful<n id="1" /> and lived<n id="2" /> in the household of his Egyptian master.

The man did just as Joseph said; he<n id="1" /> brought the men into Joseph&#8217;s house.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="bodytext">So Judah and his brothers<n id="1" /> came back to Joseph&#8217;s house. He was still there,<n id="2" /> and they threw themselves to the ground before him.

He wept loudly;<n id="1" /> the Egyptians heard it and Pharaoh&#8217;s household heard about it.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="bodytext">Joseph lived in Egypt, along with his father&#8217;s family.<n id="1" /> Joseph lived 110 years.

<p class="bodytext">Abraham took his son Ishmael and every male in his household (whether born in his house or bought with money)<n id="1" /> and circumcised them<n id="2" /> on that very same day, just as God had told him to do.

Then Joseph said to his brothers and his father&#8217;s household, &#8220;I will go up and tell Pharaoh,<n id="1" /> &#8216;My brothers and my father&#8217;s household who were in the land of Canaan have come to me.

Make<n id="1" /> for yourself an ark of cypress<n id="2" /> wood. Make rooms in the ark, and cover<n id="3" /> it with pitch inside and out.

<p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> said to Noah, &#8220;Come into the ark, you and all your household, for I consider you godly among this generation.<n id="1" />

When Abram heard that his nephew<n id="1" /> had been taken captive, he mobilized<n id="2" /> his 318 trained men who had been born in his household, and he pursued the invaders<n id="3" /> as far as Dan.<n id="4" />

<p class="bodytext">But Abram said, &#8220;O sovereign <sc>Lordsc>,<n id="1" /> what will you give me since<n id="2" /> I continue to be<n id="3" /> childless, and my heir<n id="4" /> is<n id="5" /> Eliezer of Damascus?&#8221;<n id="6" />

<p class="bodytext">But he urged<n id="1" /> them persistently, so they turned aside with him and entered his house. He prepared a feast for them, including bread baked without yeast, and they ate.

Before they could lie down to sleep,<n id="1" /> all the men &#8211; both young and old, from every part of the city of Sodom &#8211; surrounded the house.<n id="2" />

Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, from the youngest to the oldest,<n id="1" /> with blindness. The men outside<n id="2" /> wore themselves out trying to find the door.

For the <sc>Lordsc><n id="1" /> had caused infertility to strike every woman<n id="2" /> in the household of Abimelech because he took<n id="3" /> Sarah, Abraham&#8217;s wife.p>
