Then the priest will put the woman under the oath of the curse<n id="1" /> and will say<n id="2" /> to the her, &#8220;The <sc>Lordsc> make you an attested curse<n id="3" /> among your people,<n id="4" /> if the <sc>Lordsc> makes<n id="5" /> your thigh fall away<n id="6" /> and your abdomen swell;<n id="7" />

then the priest must wave them as a wave offering<n id="1" /> before the <sc>Lordsc>; it is a holy portion for the priest, together with the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the raised offering.<n id="2" /> After this the Nazirite may drink<n id="3" /> wine.&#8217;p>

This is the service of the families of the Gershonites concerning the tent of meeting. Their responsibilities will be under the authority<n id="1" /> of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.<n id="2" />p>

This is the service of the families of the Merarites, their entire service concerning the tent of meeting, under the authority of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.&#8221;p>

But if the individual has no close relative<n id="1" /> to whom reparation can be made for the wrong, the reparation for the wrong must be paid to the <sc>Lordsc><n id="2" /> for the priest, in addition to the ram of atonement by which atonement is made for him.

The priest will take the grain offering of suspicion from the woman&#8217;s hand, wave the grain offering before the <sc>Lordsc>, and bring it to the altar.

Then the priest will take a handful of the grain offering as its memorial portion, burn it on the altar, and afterward make the woman drink the water.

On the eighth day he is to bring<n id="1" /> two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the entrance to the tent of meeting.

Then the priest will offer one for a purification offering<n id="1" /> and the other<n id="2" /> as a burnt offering,<n id="3" /> and make atonement<n id="4" /> for him, because of his transgression<n id="5" /> in regard to the corpse. So he must reconsecrate<n id="6" /> his head on that day.

Then he must offer the ram as a peace offering<n id="1" /> to the <sc>Lordsc>, with the basket of bread made without yeast; the priest must also offer his grain offering and his drink offering.p>

and he gave four carts and eight oxen to the Merarites, as their service required, under the authority<n id="1" /> of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest.

And the priest must make atonement for the person who sins unintentionally &#8211; when he sins unintentionally before the <sc>Lordsc> &#8211; to make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.

&#8220;Tell<n id="1" /> Eleazar son of Aaron the priest to pick up<n id="2" /> the censers out of the flame, for they are holy, and then scatter the coals of fire<n id="3" /> at a distance.

So Eleazar the priest took the bronze censers presented by those who had been burned up, and they were hammered out as a covering for the altar.

You must give it to Eleazar the priest so that he can take it outside the camp, and it must be slaughtered before him.<n id="1" />

Eleazar the priest is to take<n id="1" /> some of its blood with his finger, and sprinkle some of the blood seven times<n id="2" /> directly in front of the tent of meeting.

When Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it,<n id="1" /> he got up from among the assembly, took a javelin in his hand,

<p class="bodytext">These are those who were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the Israelites in the plains of Moab along the Jordan River opposite Jericho.<n id="1" />

But there was not a man among these who had been<n id="1" /> among those numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest when they numbered the Israelites in the wilderness of Sinai.
