<p class="poetry">Let the nations be roused and let them go upp> <p class="poetry">to the valley of Jehoshaphat,p> <p class="poetry">for there I will sit in judgment on all the surrounding nations.p>

<t /><p class="poetry">You will be convinced<n id="1" /> that I the <sc>Lordsc> am your God,p> <p class="poetry">dwelling on Zion, my holy mountain.p> <p class="poetry">Jerusalem<n id="2" /> will be holy &#8211;p> <p class="poetry">conquering armies<n id="3" /> will no longer pass through it.p>

<p class="poetry">Return to the <sc>Lordsc> your God,p> <p class="poetry">for he is merciful and compassionate,p> <p class="poetry">slow to anger and boundless in loyal love<n id="1" /> &#8211; often relenting from calamitous punishment.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="poetry">I will remove the one from the north<n id="1" /> far from you.p> <p class="poetry">I will drive him out to a dry and desolate place.p> <p class="poetry">Those in front will be driven eastward into the Dead Sea,<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">and those in back westward into the Mediterranean Sea.<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">His stench will rise up as a foul smell.&#8221;<n id="4" />p> <p class="poetry">Indeed, the <sc>Lordsc><n id="5" /> has accomplished great things.p>

<p class="poetry">It will so happen thatp> <p class="poetry">everyone who calls on the name of the <sc>Lordsc> will be delivered.<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem<n id="2" /> there will be those who survive,<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">just as the <sc>Lordsc> has promised;p> <p class="poetry">the remnant<n id="4" /> will be those whom the <sc>Lordsc> will call.<n id="5" />p>
