&#8211; just as it is taken from the ox of the peace offering sacrifice<n id="1" /> &#8211; and the priest must offer them up in smoke on the altar of burnt offering.

A continual fire must be kept burning on the altar. It must not be extinguished.p>

Then Aaron&#8217;s sons presented the blood to him and he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar, and the rest of the blood he poured out at the base of the altar.

Then the sons of Aaron, the priests, must arrange the parts with the head and the suet<n id="1" /> on the wood that is in the fire on the altar.<n id="2" />

Finally, the one presenting the offering<n id="1" /> must wash its entrails and its legs in water and the priest must offer all of it up in smoke on the altar<n id="2" /> &#8211; it is<n id="3" /> a burnt offering, a gift<n id="4" /> of a soothing aroma to the <sc>Lordsc>.p>

Next, the one presenting the offering<n id="1" /> must cut it into parts, with its head and its suet, and the priest must arrange them on the wood which is in the fire, on the altar.

Then the one presenting the offering must wash the entrails and the legs in water, and the priest must present all of it and offer it up in smoke on the altar &#8211; it is a burnt offering, a gift of a soothing aroma to the <sc>Lordsc>.p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;You must bring the grain offering that must be made from these to the <sc>Lordsc>. Present it to the priest,<n id="1" /> and he will bring it to the altar.

He must lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance of the Meeting Tent, and the sons of Aaron, the priests, must splash the blood against the altar&#8217;s sides.<n id="1" />

Then the sons of Aaron must offer it up in smoke on the altar atop the burnt offering that is on the wood in the fire as a gift of a soothing aroma to the <sc>Lordsc>.<n id="1" />p>
