You are to make its four horns<n id="1" /> on its four corners; its horns will be part of it,<n id="2" /> and you are to overlay it with bronze.

Its length is to be a foot and a half<n id="1" /> and its width a foot and a half; it will be square. Its height is to be three feet,<n id="2" /> with its horns of one piece with it.<n id="3" />

Whoever makes perfume like it and whoever puts any of it on someone not a priest<n id="1" /> will be cut off<n id="2" /> from his people.&#8217;&#8221;p>

When the fish<n id="1" /> that were in the Nile died, the Nile began<n id="2" /> to stink, so that the Egyptians could not drink water from the Nile. There was blood<n id="3" /> everywhere in the land of Egypt!

<p class="bodytext">Then Pharaoh summoned<n id="1" /> Moses and Aaron and said, &#8220;Pray<n id="2" /> to the <sc>Lordsc> that he may take the frogs away<n id="3" /> from me and my people, and I will release<n id="4" /> the people that they may sacrifice<n id="5" /> to the <sc>Lordsc>.&#8221;

Moses said to Pharaoh, &#8220;You may have the honor over me<n id="1" /> &#8211; when shall I pray for you, your servants, and your people, for the frogs to be removed<n id="2" /> from you and your houses, so that<n id="3" /> they will be left<n id="4" /> only in the Nile?&#8221;

For by now I could have stretched out<n id="1" /> my hand and struck you and your people with plague, and you would have been destroyed<n id="2" /> from the earth.

I am going to cause very severe hail to rain down<n id="1" /> about this time tomorrow, such hail as has never occurred<n id="2" /> in Egypt from the day it was founded<n id="3" /> until now.

They will take some of the blood and put it on the two side posts and top of the doorframe of the houses where they will eat it.

Do not eat it raw<n id="1" /> or boiled in water, but roast it over the fire with its head, its legs, and its entrails.

But they did not listen to Moses; some<n id="1" /> kept part of it until morning, and it was full<n id="2" /> of worms and began to stink, and Moses was angry with them.
