You are to put the atonement lid on top of the ark, and in the ark you are to put the testimony I am giving you.

You are to beat some of it very fine and put some of it before the ark of the testimony in the tent of meeting where I will meet with you; it is to be most holy to you.

And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, hung<n id="1" /> the protecting curtain,<n id="2" /> and shielded the ark of the testimony from view, just as the <sc>Lordsc> had commanded Moses.p>

He must then put the incense on the fire before the <sc>Lordsc>, and the cloud of incense will cover the atonement plate which is above the ark of the testimony,<n id="1" /> so that he will not die.<n id="2" />

Outside the veil-canopy<n id="1" /> of the congregation in the Meeting Tent Aaron<n id="2" /> must arrange it from evening until morning before the <sc>Lordsc> continually. This is a perpetual statute throughout your generations.<n id="3" />

When it is time for the camp to journey,<n id="1" /> Aaron and his sons must come and take down the screening curtain and cover the ark of the testimony with it.

<t /><n id="1" /><p class="bodytext">On<n id="2" /> the day that the tabernacle was set up,<n id="3" /> the cloud<n id="4" /> covered the tabernacle &#8211; the tent of the testimony<n id="5" /> &#8211; and from evening until morning there was<n id="6" /> a fiery appearance<n id="7" /> over the tabernacle.

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Bring with you your brothers, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, so that they may join<n id="1" /> with you and minister to you while<n id="2" /> you and your sons with you are before the tent of the testimony.

Jehoiada<n id="1" /> led out the king&#8217;s son and placed on him the crown and the royal insignia.<n id="2" /> They proclaimed him king and poured olive oil on his head.<n id="3" /> They clapped their hands and cried out, &#8220;Long live the king!&#8221;p>
