&#8220;Speak to the Israelites and tell them, &#8216;When<n id="1" /> someone<n id="2" /> among you presents an offering<n id="3" /> to the <sc>Lordsc>,<n id="4" /> you<n id="5" /> must present your offering from the domesticated animals, either from the herd or from the flock.<n id="6" />p>

&#8220;This is the offering of Aaron and his sons which they must present to the <sc>Lordsc> on the day when he is anointed: a tenth of an ephah<n id="1" /> of choice wheat flour<n id="2" /> as a continual grain offering, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening.

Moses then said to Aaron, &#8220;Approach the altar and make your sin offering and your burnt offering, and make atonement on behalf of yourself and on behalf of the people;<n id="1" /> and also make the people&#8217;s offering and make atonement on behalf of them just as the <sc>Lordsc> has commanded.&#8221;p>

but has not brought it to the entrance of the Meeting Tent<n id="1" /> to present it as<n id="2" /> an offering to the <sc>Lordsc> before the tabernacle of the <sc>Lordsc>. He has shed blood, so that man will be cut off from the midst of his people.<n id="3" />

You must not eat bread, roasted grain, or fresh grain until this very day,<n id="1" /> until you bring the offering of your God. This is a perpetual statute throughout your generations<n id="2" /> in all the places where you live.p>

And those men said to him, &#8220;We are ceremonially defiled by the dead body of a man; why are we kept back from offering the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s offering at its appointed time among the Israelites?&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">But<n id="1" /> the man who is ceremonially clean, and was not on a journey, and fails<n id="2" /> to keep the Passover, that person must be cut off from his people.<n id="3" /> Because he did not bring the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s offering at its appointed time, that man must bear his sin.<n id="4" />

So we have brought as an offering for the <sc>Lordsc> what each man found: gold ornaments, armlets, bracelets, signet rings, earrings, and necklaces, to make atonement for ourselves<n id="1" /> before the <sc>Lordsc>.&#8221;<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;We &#8211; the priests, the Levites, and the people &#8211; have cast lots concerning the wood offerings, to bring them to the temple of our God according to our families<n id="1" /> at the designated times year by year to burn on the altar of the <sc>LORDsc> our God, as is written in the law.
