The porch in front of the main hall of the temple was 30 feet<n id="1" /> long, corresponding to the width of the temple. It was 15 feet<n id="2" /> wide, extending out from the front of the temple.

The inner sanctuary was 30 feet<n id="1" /> long, 30 feet wide, and 30 feet high. He plated it with gold,<n id="2" /> as well as the cedar altar.<n id="3" />

An area eight and a quarter miles<n id="1" /> in length and three and one-third miles<n id="2" /> in width will be for the Levites, who minister at the temple, as the place for the cities<n id="3" /> in which they will live.p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;Alongside the portion set apart as the holy allotment, you will allot for the city an area one and two-thirds miles<n id="1" /> wide and eight and a quarter miles<n id="2" /> long; it will be for the whole house of Israel.p>

In the four corners of the court were small<n id="1" /> courts, 70 feet<n id="2" /> in length and 52½ feet<n id="3" /> in width; the four were all the same size.

<t /><p class="bodytext">Joshua son of Nun sent two spies out from Shittim secretly and instructed them:<n id="1" /> &#8220;Find out what you can about the land, especially Jericho.&#8221;<n id="2" /> They stopped at the house of a prostitute named Rahab and spent the night there.<n id="3" />

The city and all that is in it must be set apart for the <sc>Lordsc>,<n id="1" /> except for Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house, because she hid the spies<n id="2" /> we sent.

So the young spies went and brought out Rahab, her father, mother, brothers, and all who belonged to her. They brought out her whole family and took them to a place outside<n id="1" /> the Israelite camp.

Yet Joshua spared<n id="1" /> Rahab the prostitute, her father&#8217;s family,<n id="2" /> and all who belonged to her. She lives in Israel<n id="3" /> to this very day because she hid the messengers Joshua sent to spy on Jericho.<n id="4" />

<p class="bodytext">The men of Asher did not conquer the people living in Acco or Sidon,<n id="1" /> nor did they conquer Ahlab, Aczib, Helbah, Aphek, or Rehob.<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">He made the most holy place;<n id="1" /> its length was 30 feet,<n id="2" /> corresponding to the width of the temple, and its width 30 feet.<n id="3" /> He plated it with 600 talents<n id="4" /> of fine gold.

<p class="bodytext">I saw<n id="1" /> a wall all around the outside of the temple.<n id="2" /> In the man&#8217;s hand was a measuring stick 10½ feet<n id="3" /> long. He measured the thickness of the wall<n id="4" /> as 10½ feet,<n id="5" /> and its height as 10½ feet.

The alcoves were 10½ feet long and 10½ feet wide; between the alcoves were 8¾ feet.<n id="1" /> The threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate facing inward was 10½ feet.
