Joshua son of Nun, the servant<n id="1" /> of Moses, one of his choice young men,<n id="2" /> said,<n id="3" /> &#8220;My lord Moses, stop them!&#8221;<n id="4" />

Joshua made a peace treaty with them and agreed to let them live. The leaders of the community<n id="1" /> sealed it with an oath.<n id="2" />p>

So Joshua and his whole army, including the bravest warriors, marched up from Gilgal.<n id="1" />

Joshua said, &#8220;Roll large stones over the mouth of the cave and post guards in front of it.<n id="1" />
