Night and day may you watch over this temple, the place where you promised you would live.<n id="1" /> May you answer your servant&#8217;s prayer for this place.<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">Then I went to the house of Shemaiah son of Delaiah, the son of Mehetabel. He was confined to his home.<n id="1" /> He said, &#8220;Let&#8217;s set up a time to meet in the house of God, within the temple. Let&#8217;s close the doors of the temple, for they are coming to kill you. It will surely be at night that they will come to kill you.&#8221;p>

So I will throw you out of this land into a land that neither you nor your ancestors have ever known. There you must worship other gods day and night, for I will show you no mercy.&#8217;&#8221;p>

may your ear be attentive and your eyes be open to hear the prayer of your servant that I am praying to you today throughout both day and night on behalf of your servants the Israelites.
