Then the two visitors<n id="1" /> said to Lot, &#8220;Who else do you have here?<n id="2" /> Do you have<n id="3" /> any sons-in-law, sons, daughters, or other relatives in the city?<n id="4" /> Get them out of this<n id="5" /> place

So he<n id="1" /> said to his servants, &#8220;You two stay<n id="2" /> here with the donkey while<n id="3" /> the boy and I go up there. We will worship<n id="4" /> and then return to you.&#8221;<n id="5" />p>

for I really was kidnapped<n id="1" /> from the land of the Hebrews and I have done nothing wrong here for which they should put me in a dungeon.&#8221;p>

When Elijah heard it, he covered his face with his robe and went out and stood at the entrance to the cave. All of a sudden<n id="1" /> a voice asked him, &#8220;Why are you here, Elijah?&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">Now four men with a skin disease<n id="1" /> were sitting at the entrance of the city gate. They said to one another, &#8220;Why are we just sitting here waiting to die?<n id="2" />

<p class="poetry">Syria from the east,p> <p class="poetry">and the Philistines from the west,p> <p class="poetry">they gobbled up Israelite territory.<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">Despite all this, his anger does not subside,p> <p class="poetry">and his hand is ready to strike again.<n id="2" />p>

On that day I will make Israel powerful,<n id="1" /> and I will give you the right to be heard<n id="2" /> among them. Then they will know that I am the <sc>Lordsc>.&#8221;p>

<p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> said to him, &#8220;Who gave<n id="1" /> a mouth to man, or who makes a person mute or deaf or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the <sc>Lordsc>?<n id="2" />

But as for you, remain here with me so I can declare to you all the commandments,<n id="1" /> statutes, and ordinances that you are to teach them, so that they can carry them out in the land I am about to give them.&#8221;<n id="2" />

As they approached<n id="1" /> Micah&#8217;s house, they recognized the accent<n id="2" /> of the young Levite. So they stopped<n id="3" /> there and said to him, &#8220;Who brought you here? What are you doing in this place? What is your business here?&#8221;<n id="4" />

When the man got ready to leave<n id="1" /> with his concubine and his servant,<n id="2" /> his father-in-law, the girl&#8217;s father, said to him, &#8220;Look! The day is almost over!<n id="3" /> Stay another night! Since the day is over,<n id="4" /> stay another night here and have a good time. You can get up early tomorrow and start your trip home.&#8221;<n id="5" />
