<p class="bodytext">All the work ordered by Solomon was completed, from the day the foundation of the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s temple was laid until it was finished; the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s temple was completed.p>

<p class="bodytext">I, Daniel, was exhausted<n id="1" /> and sick for days. Then I got up and again carried out the king&#8217;s business. But I was astonished at the vision, and there was no one to explain it.p>

So Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person<n id="1" /> in whom the <sc>Lordsc> has put skill<n id="2" /> and ability<n id="3" /> to know how<n id="4" /> to do all the work for the service<n id="5" /> of the sanctuary are to do the work<n id="6" /> according to all that the <sc>Lordsc> has commanded.&#8221;p>

<p class="bodytext">All the gold that was used for the work, in all the work of the sanctuary<n id="1" /> (namely,<n id="2" /> the gold of the wave offering) was twenty-nine talents and 730 shekels,<n id="3" /> according to the sanctuary shekel.p>

For seven days you must present a gift to the <sc>Lordsc>. On the eighth day there is to be a holy assembly for you, and you must present a gift to the <sc>Lordsc>. It is a solemn assembly day;<n id="1" /> you must not do any regular work.p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you are to have a holy assembly; you must do no ordinary work, and you must keep a festival to the <sc>Lordsc> for seven days.

But Aaron and his descendants offered sacrifices on the altar for burnt offerings and on the altar for incense as they had been assigned to do in the most holy sanctuary.<n id="1" /> They made atonement for Israel, just as God&#8217;s servant Moses had ordered.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="bodytext">As for the Hebronites: Hashabiah and his relatives, 1,700 respected men, were assigned responsibilities in Israel west of the Jordan; they did the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s work and the king&#8217;s service.p>

<p class="bodytext">David said to his son Solomon: &#8220;Be strong and brave! Do it! Don&#8217;t be afraid and don&#8217;t panic!<n id="1" /> For the <sc>Lordsc> God, my God, is with you. He will not leave you or abandon you before all the work for the service of the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s temple is finished.

<p class="bodytext">The king and Jehoiada gave it to the construction foremen<n id="1" /> assigned to the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s temple. They hired carpenters and craftsmen to repair the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s temple, as well as those skilled in working with iron and bronze to restore the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s temple.

for the loaves of presentation and for the regular grain offerings and regular burnt offerings, for the Sabbaths, for the new moons, for the appointed meetings, for the holy offerings, for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the temple of our God.p>

<p class="bodytext">The overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica. He was one of Asaph&#8217;s descendants who were the singers responsible for the service of the temple of God.

In the second year after they had come to the temple of God in Jerusalem,<n id="1" /> in the second month, Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak initiated the work,<n id="2" /> along with the rest of their associates,<n id="3" /> the priests and the Levites, and all those who were coming to Jerusalem from the exile. They appointed<n id="4" /> the Levites who were at least twenty years old<n id="5" /> to take charge of the work on the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s temple.
