They told Moses, ¹  “We went to the land where you sent us. ²  It is indeed flowing with milk and honey, ³  and this is its fruit.

You are to take it from their half-share and give it to Eleazar the priest for a raised offering to the Lord.

Whenever the tabernacle is to move, ¹  the Levites must take it down, and whenever the tabernacle is to be reassembled, ²  the Levites must set it up. ³  Any unauthorized person ⁴  who approaches it must be killed.

And you may ¹  eat it in any place, you and your household, because it is your wages for your service in the tent of meeting.

You must dispossess the inhabitants of the land and live in it, for I have given you the land to possess it.

Whether it was for two days, or a month, or a year, ¹  that the cloud prolonged its stay ²  over the tabernacle, the Israelites remained camped without traveling; ³  but when it was taken up, they traveled on.

Then the priest will take a handful of the grain offering as its memorial portion, burn it on the altar, and afterward make the woman drink the water.

They may observe it on the fourteenth day of the second month ¹  at twilight; they are to eat it with bread made without yeast and with bitter herbs.

“They must spread a blue cloth on the gold altar, and cover it with a covering of fine leather; and they must insert its poles.
