So ¹  Judas ²  agreed and began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus ³  when no crowd was present. ⁴ 

So Peter went down ¹  to the men and said, “Here I am, ²  the person you’re looking for. Why have you come?”

One basket had very good-looking figs in it. They looked like those that had ripened early. ¹  The other basket had very bad-looking figs in it, so bad they could not be eaten.

When Joseph reached Shechem, ¹  a man found him wandering ²  in the field, so the man asked him, “What are you looking for?”

Then ¹  he said to them, “What are these matters ²  you are discussing so intently ³  as you walk along?” And they stood still, looking sad.

wearing belts on their waists and flowing turbans on their heads, all of them looking like officers, the image of Babylonians ¹  whose native land is Chaldea.

After ¹  looking around ²  at them all, he said to the man, ³  “Stretch out your hand.” The man ⁴  did so, and his hand was restored. ⁵ 

Then seven fat and fine-looking cows were coming up out of the Nile, and they grazed in the reeds. ¹ 

A crowd was sitting around him and they said to him, “Look, your mother and your brothers ¹  are outside looking for you.”

Then Jesus, because he knew everything that was going to happen to him, ¹  came and asked them, “Who are you looking for?” ² 

Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, ¹  is on the prowl looking for someone ²  to devour.

They went to the entrance of Gedor, to the east of the valley, looking for pasture for their sheep.

I have wandered off like a lost sheep. ¹  Come looking for your servant, for I do not forget your commands.

Surely I am looking to you, ¹  O sovereign Lord. In you I take shelter. Do not expose me to danger! ² 

The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death, but they did not find anything.

But ¹  he replied, ²  “Why were you looking for me? ³  Didn’t you know that I must be in my Father’s house?” ⁴ 

Then ¹  Jesus ²  told this parable: “A man had a fig tree ³  planted in his vineyard, and he came looking for fruit on it and found none.

So when the crowd realized that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they got into the boats ¹  and came to Capernaum ²  looking for Jesus.

“When ¹  an unclean spirit ²  goes out of a person, ³  it passes through waterless places ⁴  looking for rest but ⁵  does not find it.

The cherubim were spreading their wings ¹  upward, overshadowing the atonement lid with their wings. The cherubim ²  faced each other, ³  looking toward the atonement lid. ⁴
