Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world ¹  will be driven out. ² 

and you have been filled in him, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

Look, I made him a witness to nations, ¹  a ruler and commander of nations.”

But some of them said, “By the power of Beelzebul, ¹  the ruler ²  of demons, he casts out demons.”

Do not crave that ruler’s ¹  delicacies, for ²  that food is deceptive. ³ 

When Jesus entered the ruler’s house and saw the flute players and the disorderly crowd,

Send rams as tribute to the ruler of the land, ¹  from Sela in the desert ²  to the hill of Daughter Zion.

But the man who was unfairly hurting his neighbor pushed ¹  Moses ²  aside, saying, ‘Who made ³  you a ruler and judge over us?

If the anger ¹  of the ruler flares up ²  against you, do not resign ³  from your position, ⁴  for a calm ⁵  response ⁶  can undo ⁷  great offenses.

Paul replied, ¹  “I did not realize, ²  brothers, that he was the high priest, for it is written, ‘You must not speak evil about a ruler of your people.’” ³ 

in which ¹  you formerly lived ²  according to this world’s present path, ³  according to the ruler of the kingdom ⁴  of the air, the ruler of ⁵  the spirit ⁶  that is now energizing ⁷  the sons of disobedience, ⁸ 

They told him, “Joseph is still alive and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt!” Jacob was stunned, ¹  for he did not believe them.

While he was still speaking, people came from the synagogue ruler’s ¹  house saying, “Your daughter has died. Why trouble the teacher any longer?”

Then, on Belshazzar’s orders, ¹  Daniel was clothed in purple, a golden collar was placed around his neck, and he was proclaimed third ruler in the kingdom.

For the Lord, our ruler, the Lord, our commander, the Lord, our king – he will deliver us.

Then ¹  a man named Jairus, who was a ruler ²  of the synagogue, ³  came up. Falling ⁴  at Jesus’ feet, he pleaded ⁵  with him to come to his house,

While he was still speaking, someone from the synagogue ruler’s ¹  house came and said, “Your daughter is dead; do not trouble the teacher any longer.”

But when the Pharisees ¹  heard this they said, “He does not cast out demons except by the power of Beelzebul, ²  the ruler ³  of demons!”
