Your tongue carries out your destructive plans; ¹  it is as effective as a sharp razor, O deceiver. ² 

But for now ¹  I have considered it necessary to send Epaphroditus to you. For he is my brother, ²  coworker and fellow soldier, and your messenger ³  and minister ⁴  to me in my need. ⁵ 

He was the son of a widow from the tribe of Naphtali, ¹  and his father was a craftsman in bronze from Tyre. He had the skill and knowledge ²  to make all kinds of works of bronze. He reported to King Solomon and did all the work he was assigned.

Take what is yours and go. I ¹  want to give to this last man ²  the same as I gave to you.

See the one who is pregnant with wickedness, who conceives destructive plans, and gives birth to harmful lies – ¹ 

The one who is lazy ¹  becomes poor, ²  but the one who works diligently ³  becomes wealthy. ⁴ 

She begins ¹  her work vigorously, and she strengthens ²  her arms.

Now the Lord makes this announcement: “Within exactly three years ¹  Moab’s splendor will disappear, along with all her many people; there will be just a few, insignificant survivors left.” ² 

So the Lord God expelled him ¹  from the orchard in Eden to cultivate the ground from which he had been taken.

Then she gave birth ¹  to his brother Abel. ²  Abel took care of the flocks, while Cain cultivated the ground. ³ 

Like a servant ¹  longing for the evening shadow, ²  and like a hired man looking ³  for his wages, ⁴ 

that does not respond to ¹  the magicians, or to a skilled snake-charmer.

Deceitful people will not live in my palace. ¹  Liars will not be welcome in my presence. ² 

then I was ¹  beside him as a master craftsman, ²  and I was his delight ³  day by day, rejoicing before him at all times,

The diligent ¹  person ²  will rule, but the slothful ³  will become a slave. ⁴
