“Now send me a man who is skilled in working with gold, silver, bronze, and iron, as well as purple, crimson, and violet colored fabrics, and who knows how to engrave. He will work with my skilled craftsmen here in Jerusalem ¹  and Judah, whom my father David provided.

The king and Jehoiada gave it to the construction foremen ¹  assigned to the Lord’s temple. They hired carpenters and craftsmen to repair the Lord’s temple, as well as those skilled in working with iron and bronze to restore the Lord’s temple.

and what is the incomparable ¹  greatness of his power toward ²  us who believe, as displayed in ³  the exercise of his immense strength. ⁴ 

I became a servant of this gospel ¹  according to the gift of God’s grace that was given to me by ²  the exercise of his power. ³ 

But God has been my ¹  king from ancient times, performing acts of deliverance on the earth. ² 

We do hard work, toiling with our own hands. When we are verbally abused, we respond with a blessing, when persecuted, we endure,

Or do only Barnabas and I lack the right not to work?

Your tongue carries out your destructive plans; ¹  it is as effective as a sharp razor, O deceiver. ² 

Toward this goal ¹  I also labor, struggling according to his power that powerfully ²  works in me.

The farmer who works hard ought to have the first share of the crops.

From him the whole body grows, fitted and held together ¹  through every supporting ligament. ²  As each one does its part, the body grows in love.

Having been buried with him in baptism, you also have been raised with him through your ¹  faith in the power ²  of God who raised him from the dead.

to another performance of miracles, to another prophecy, and to another discernment of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues.

to design artistic designs, to work in gold, in silver, and in bronze,

As a result, ¹  death is at work in us, but life is at work in you. ² 

They went out and proclaimed everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through the accompanying signs.]]

And there are different results, but the same God who produces all of them in everyone.

They handed it over to the construction foremen ¹  assigned to the Lord’s temple. They in turn paid the temple workers to restore and repair it. ² 

Now because we are fellow workers, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain. ¹ 

Pharaoh was thinking, ¹  “The people of the land are now many, and you are giving them rest from their labor.”
