and the priest will establish its conversion value, ¹  whether good or bad. According to the assessed conversion value of the priest, thus it will be.

Every conversion value must be calculated by the standard of the sanctuary shekel; ¹  twenty gerahs to the shekel.

and must bring a flawless ram from the flock, convertible into silver shekels, ¹  for a guilt offering to the priest. So the priest will make atonement ²  on his behalf for his error which he committed ³  (although he himself had not known it) and he will be forgiven. ⁴ 

“This is the offering of Aaron and his sons which they must present to the Lord on the day when he is anointed: a tenth of an ephah ¹  of choice wheat flour ²  as a continual grain offering, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening.

If some of the meat of his peace offering sacrifice is ever eaten on the third day it will not be accepted; it will not be accounted to the one who presented it, since it is spoiled, ¹  and the person who eats from it will bear his punishment for iniquity. ² 

the priest is to examine the infection, ¹  and if ²  it appears to be deeper than the skin ³  and the hair in it is reddish yellow and thin, then the priest is to pronounce the person unclean. ⁴  It is scall, ⁵  a disease of the head or the beard. ⁶ 

“‘When a woman’s discharge of blood flows ¹  many days not at the time of her menstruation, or if it flows beyond the time of her menstruation, ²  all the days of her discharge of impurity will be like the days of her menstruation – she is unclean.

So ¹  he is to make atonement for the holy place from the impurities of the Israelites and from their transgressions with regard to all their sins, ²  and thus he is to do for the Meeting Tent which resides with them in the midst of their impurities.

Nobody is to be in the Meeting Tent ¹  when he enters to make atonement in the holy place until he goes out, and he has made atonement on his behalf, on behalf of his household, and on behalf of the whole assembly of Israel.

for the life of all flesh is its blood. ¹  So I have said to the Israelites: You must not eat the blood of any living thing ²  because the life of every living thing is its blood – all who eat it will be cut off. ³ 

He must lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted for him to make atonement ¹  on his behalf.

The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and to his sons – it is ¹  most holy from the gifts of the Lord.

Then the priest must offer them up in smoke on the altar as a food gift for a soothing aroma – all the fat belongs to the Lord.

the assembly must present a young bull for a sin offering when the sin they have committed ¹  becomes known. They must bring it before the Meeting Tent,

He ¹  must bring the rest of the bull outside the camp ²  and burn it just as he burned the first bull – it is the sin offering of the assembly.

Then he must bring his guilt offering to the Lord, a flawless ram from the flock, convertible into silver shekels, ¹  for a guilt offering to the priest.

The priest who offers it for sin is to eat it. It must be eaten in a holy place, in the court of the Meeting Tent.

The law is the same for the sin offering and the guilt offering; ¹  it belongs to the priest who makes atonement with it.

“Tell the Israelites, ‘The one who presents his peace offering sacrifice to the Lord must bring his offering to the Lord from his peace offering sacrifice.

So they took what Moses had commanded to the front of ¹  the Meeting Tent and the whole congregation presented them and stood before the Lord.
