<t /><p class="bodytext">He instructed the servant who was over his household, &#8220;Fill the sacks of the men with as much food as they can carry and put each man&#8217;s money in the mouth of his sack.

But when they related to him everything Joseph had said to them,<n id="1" /> and when he saw the wagons that Joseph had sent to transport him, their father Jacob&#8217;s spirit revived.

His sons carried him to the land of Canaan and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, near Mamre. This is the field Abraham purchased as a burial plot from Ephron the Hittite.

I will bring you to the land I swore to give<n id="1" /> to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob &#8211; and I will give it to you<n id="2" /> as a possession. I am the <sc>Lord!&#8217;sc>&#8221;p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;You are to put the Urim and the Thummim<n id="1" /> into the breastpiece of decision; and they are to be over Aaron&#8217;s heart when he goes in before the <sc>Lordsc>. Aaron is to bear the decisions<n id="2" /> of the Israelites over his heart before the <sc>Lordsc> continually.p>

It will be on Aaron&#8217;s forehead, and Aaron will bear the iniquity of the holy things,<n id="1" /> which the Israelites are to sanctify by all their holy gifts;<n id="2" /> it will always be on his forehead, for their acceptance<n id="3" /> before the <sc>Lordsc>.

These must be on Aaron and his sons when they enter<n id="1" /> to the tent of meeting, or when they approach<n id="2" /> the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they bear no iniquity and die.<n id="3" /> It is to be a perpetual ordinance for him and for his descendants<n id="4" /> after him.<n id="5" />p>

You are to make two gold rings for it under its border, on its two flanks; you are to make them on its two sides.<n id="1" /> The rings<n id="2" /> will be places<n id="3" /> for poles to carry it with.

&#8220;When you take a census<n id="1" /> of the Israelites according to their number,<n id="2" /> then each man is to pay a ransom<n id="3" /> for his life to the <sc>Lordsc> when you number them,<n id="4" /> so that there will be no plague among them when you number them.

keeping loyal love for thousands,<n id="1" /> forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin. But he by no means leaves the guilty unpunished, responding to the transgression<n id="2" /> of fathers by dealing with children and children&#8217;s children, to the third and fourth generation.&#8221;p>

Everyone<n id="1" /> whose heart stirred him to action<n id="2" /> and everyone whose spirit was willing<n id="3" /> came and brought the offering for the <sc>Lordsc> for the work of the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments.<n id="4" />

<p class="bodytext">Moses summoned<n id="1" /> Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person in whom<n id="2" /> the <sc>Lordsc> had put skill &#8211; everyone whose heart stirred him<n id="3" /> to volunteer<n id="4" /> to do the work,

If some of the meat of his peace offering sacrifice is ever eaten on the third day it will not be accepted; it will not be accounted to the one who presented it, since it is spoiled,<n id="1" /> and the person who eats from it will bear his punishment for iniquity.<n id="2" />

Moses then called to Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel, Aaron&#8217;s uncle, and said to them, &#8220;Come near, carry your brothers away from the front of the sanctuary to a place outside the camp.&#8221;

&#8220;Why did you not eat the sin offering in the sanctuary? For it is most holy and he gave it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation,<n id="1" /> to make atonement on their behalf before the <sc>Lordsc>.

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;If a man has sexual intercourse with<n id="1" /> his sister, whether the daughter of his father or his mother, so that he sees her nakedness and she sees his nakedness, it is a disgrace. They must be cut off in the sight of the children of their people.<n id="2" /> He has exposed his sister&#8217;s nakedness; he will bear his punishment for iniquity.<n id="3" />
