Miriam sang in response<n id="1" /> to them, &#8220;Sing to the <sc>Lordsc>, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and its rider he has thrown into the sea.&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

<p class="bodytext">Moses and Aaron said to all the Israelites, &#8220;In the evening<n id="1" /> you will know that the <sc>Lordsc> has brought you out of the land of Egypt,

But they did not listen to Moses; some<n id="1" /> kept part of it until morning, and it was full<n id="2" /> of worms and began to stink, and Moses was angry with them.

<p class="bodytext">The house of Israel<n id="1" /> called its name &#8220;manna.&#8221;<n id="2" /> It was like coriander seed and was white, and it tasted<n id="3" /> like wafers with honey.p>

<p class="bodytext">So Joshua fought against Amalek just as Moses had instructed him;<n id="1" />and Moses and Aaron and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

He said<n id="1" /> to Moses, &#8220;I, your father-in-law Jethro, am coming to you, along with your wife and her two sons with her.&#8221;

The <sc>Lordsc> said to Moses, &#8220;Go down and solemnly warn<n id="1" /> the people, lest they force their way through to the <sc>Lordsc> to look, and many of them perish.<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;You shall not take<n id="1" /> the name of the <sc>Lordsc> your God in vain,<n id="2" /> for the <sc>Lordsc> will not hold guiltless<n id="3" /> anyone who takes his name in vain.p>

If its owner was with it, he will not have to pay; if it was hired, what was paid for the hire covers it.<n id="1" />p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;You will be holy<n id="1" /> people to me; you must not eat any meat torn by animals in the field.<n id="2" /> You must throw it to the dogs.p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;You must not offer<n id="1" /> the blood of my sacrifice with bread containing yeast; the fat of my festal sacrifice must not remain until morning.<n id="2" />

But if you diligently obey him<n id="1" /> and do all that I command, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will be an adversary to your adversaries.

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;You are to make its seven lamps,<n id="1" /> and then set<n id="2" /> its lamps up on it, so that it will give light<n id="3" /> to the area in front of it.

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;You are to present the bull at the front of the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons are to put<n id="1" /> their hands on the head<n id="2" /> of the bull.

Aaron and his sons are to eat the meat of the ram and the bread that was in the basket at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

<p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> said to Moses: &#8220;Take<n id="1" /> spices, gum resin,<n id="2" /> onycha,<n id="3" /> galbanum,<n id="4" /> and pure frankincense<n id="5" /> of equal amounts<n id="6" />

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;On six days<n id="1" /> you may labor, but on the seventh day you must rest;<n id="2" /> even at the time of plowing and of harvest<n id="3" /> you are to rest.<n id="4" />p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Moses assembled the whole community of the Israelites and said to them, &#8220;These are the things that the <sc>Lordsc> has commanded you to do.<n id="1" />

one cherub on one end<n id="1" /> and one cherub on the other end.<n id="2" /> He made the cherubim from the atonement lid on its two ends.

<t /><p class="bodytext">He made the altar for the burnt offering of acacia wood seven feet six inches long and seven feet six inches wide &#8211; it was square &#8211; and its height was four feet six inches.
