For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me.<n id="1" /> I say to this one, &#8216;Go&#8217; and he goes,<n id="2" /> and to another &#8216;Come&#8217; and he comes, and to my slave<n id="3" /> &#8216;Do this&#8217; and he does it.&#8221;<n id="4" />

But so that you may know<n id="1" /> that the Son of Man<n id="2" /> has authority on earth to forgive sins&#8221; &#8211; then he said to the paralytic<n id="3" /> &#8211; &#8220;Stand up, take your stretcher, and go home.&#8221;<n id="4" />

He said to them, &#8220;Would not any one of you, if he had one sheep that fell into a pit on the Sabbath, take hold of it and lift it out?

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure, hidden in a field, that a person found and hid. Then because of joy he went and sold all that he had and bought that field.p>

Then<n id="1" /> large crowds came to him bringing with them the lame, blind, crippled, mute, and many others. They<n id="2" /> laid them at his feet, and he healed them.

He told them, &#8220;It was because of your little faith. I tell you the truth,<n id="1" /> if you have faith the size of<n id="2" /> a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, &#8216;Move from here to there,&#8217; and it will move; nothing<n id="3" /> will be impossible for you.&#8221;p>

And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye than to have<n id="1" /> two eyes and be thrown into fiery hell.<n id="2" />p>

Jesus said to him, &#8220;If you wish to be perfect, go sell your possessions and give the money<n id="1" /> to the poor, and you will have treasure<n id="2" /> in heaven. Then come, follow me.&#8221;

But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, &#8216;This is the heir. Come, let&#8217;s kill him and get his inheritance!&#8217;

&#8220;Teacher, Moses said, &#8216;<b><i>If a man dies without having children, his brother must marry the widow and father childreni>b><n id="1" /> <b><i>for his brotheri>b>.&#8217;<n id="2" />

Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died, and since he had no children he left his wife to his brother.

So<n id="1" /> he healed many who were sick with various diseases and drove out many demons.<n id="2" /> But<n id="3" /> he would not permit the demons to speak,<n id="4" /> because they knew him.<n id="5" />p>

Jesus<n id="1" /> said to them, &#8220;The wedding guests<n id="2" /> cannot fast while the bridegroom<n id="3" /> is with them, can they?<n id="4" /> As long as they have the bridegroom with them they do not fast.

If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off! It is better for you to enter into life crippled than to have<n id="1" /> two hands and go into hell,<n id="2" /> to the unquenchable fire.

If your foot causes you to sin, cut it off! It is better to enter life lame than to have<n id="1" /> two feet and be thrown into hell.

If your eye causes you to sin, tear it out!<n id="1" /> It is better to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye than to have<n id="2" /> two eyes and be thrown into hell,

After noticing in the distance a fig tree with leaves, he went to see if he could find any fruit<n id="1" /> on it. When he came to it he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.

Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven will<n id="1" /> also forgive you your sins.&#8221;p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> while Jesus<n id="2" /> was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, reclining at the table,<n id="3" /> a woman came with an alabaster jar<n id="4" /> of costly aromatic oil<n id="5" /> from pure nard. After breaking open the jar, she poured it on his head.

Therefore produce<n id="1" /> fruit<n id="2" /> that proves your repentance, and don&#8217;t begin to say<n id="3" /> to yourselves, &#8216;We have Abraham as our father.&#8217;<n id="4" /> For I tell you that God can raise up children for Abraham from these stones!<n id="5" />
