Samson said to them, “Because you did this, ¹  I will get revenge against you before I quit fighting.” ² 

So Delilah said to Samson, “Tell me what makes you so strong and how you can be subdued and humiliated.” ¹ 

The priest was happy. He took the ephod, the personal idols, and the carved image and joined the group. ¹

The Philistines went up and invaded ¹  Judah. They arrayed themselves for battle ²  in Lehi.

That entire generation passed away; ¹  a new generation grew up ²  that had not personally experienced the Lord’s presence or seen what he had done for Israel. ³ 

Gideon ¹  said to him, “But Lord, ²  how ³  can I deliver Israel? Just look! My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the youngest in my family.” ⁴ 

When these men broke into Micah’s house and stole ¹  the carved image, the ephod, the personal idols, and the metal image, the priest said to them, “What are you doing?”
