<p class="poetry">There is one who pretends to be rich<n id="1" /> and yet has nothing;p> <p class="poetry">another pretends to be poor<n id="2" /> and yet possesses great wealth.<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">Wealth gained quickly<n id="1" /> will dwindle away,<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">but the one who gathers it little by little<n id="3" /> will become rich.<n id="4" />p>

<p class="poetry">The one who despises instruction<n id="1" /> will pay the penalty,<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">but whoever esteems instruction<n id="3" /> will<n id="4" /> be rewarded.<n id="5" />p>

<p class="poetry">The one who neglects<n id="1" /> discipline ends up in<n id="2" /> poverty and shame,p> <p class="poetry">but the one who accepts reproof is honored.<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">The one who oppresses<n id="1" /> the poor insults<n id="2" /> his Creator,p> <p class="poetry">but whoever shows favor<n id="3" /> to the needy honors him.p>
