Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?

Is not the cup of blessing that we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the bread that we break a sharing in the body of Christ?

The one who speaks in a tongue builds himself up,<n id="1" /> but the one who prophesies builds up the church.

According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master-builder I laid a foundation, but someone else builds on it. And each one must be careful how he builds.

For in fact the body is not a single member, but many.

<p class="bodytext">Now you are Christ&#8217;s body, and each of you is a member of it.

A person should examine himself first,<n id="1" /> and in this way<n id="2" /> let him eat the bread and drink of the cup.

<p class="bodytext">Do you not know that all the runners in a stadium compete, but only one receives the prize? So run to win.

Instead we speak the wisdom of God, hidden in a mystery, that God determined before the ages for our glory.

Were you called as a slave?<n id="1" /> Do not worry about it. But if indeed you are able to be free, make the most of the opportunity.

<p class="bodytext">If anyone considers himself a prophet or spiritual person, he should acknowledge that what I write to you is the Lord&#8217;s command.

<t /><p class="bodytext">When any of you has a legal dispute with another, does he dare go to court before the unrighteous rather than before the saints?

Do we not have the right to the company of a believing wife, like the other apostles and the Lord&#8217;s brothers and Cephas?

Each competitor must exercise self-control in everything. They do it to receive a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one.p>

So then, tongues are a sign not for believers but for unbelievers. Prophecy, however, is not for unbelievers but for believers.

<p class="bodytext">I do all these things because of the gospel, so that I can be a participant in it.p>

Or do you not know that anyone who is united with<n id="1" /> a prostitute is one body with her?<n id="2" /> For it is said, &#8220;<b><i>The two will become one fleshi>b>.&#8221;<n id="3" />

Flee sexual immorality! &#8220;Every sin a person commits is outside of the body&#8221;<n id="1" /> &#8211; but the immoral person sins against his own body.

For a man should not have his head covered, since he is the image and glory of God. But the woman is the glory of the man.

If someone speaks in a tongue, it should be two, or at the most three, one after the other, and someone must interpret.
