And I testify again to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey<n id="1" /> the whole law.

not that there really is another gospel,<n id="1" /> but<n id="2" /> there are some who are disturbing you and wanting<n id="3" /> to distort the gospel of Christ.

I<n id="1" /> was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my nation,<n id="2" /> and was<n id="3" /> extremely zealous for the traditions of my ancestors.<n id="4" />

The only thing I want to learn from you is this: Did you receive the Spirit by doing the works of the law<n id="1" /> or by believing what you heard?<n id="2" />

But one, the son by the slave woman, was born by natural descent,<n id="1" /> while the other, the son by the free woman, was born through the promise.

So we must not grow weary<n id="1" /> in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not give up.<n id="2" />

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, proclaimed the gospel to Abraham ahead of time,<n id="1" /> saying, &#8220;<b><i>All the nationsi>b><n id="2" /> <b><i>will be blessed in youi>b><sc>.&#8221;sc><n id="3" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> I want you to know, brothers and sisters,<n id="2" /> that the gospel I preached is not of human origin.<n id="3" />

Are you so foolish? Although you began<n id="1" /> with<n id="2" /> the Spirit, are you now trying to finish<n id="3" /> by human effort?<n id="4" />

Have you suffered so many things for nothing? &#8211; if indeed it was for nothing.

So then those who believe<n id="1" /> are blessed along with Abraham the believer.

Thus the law had become our guardian<n id="1" /> until Christ, so that we could be declared righteous<n id="2" /> by faith.

For all of you who<n id="1" /> were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

So also we, when we were minors,<n id="1" /> were enslaved under the basic forces<n id="2" /> of the world.

I wish I could be with you now and change my tone of voice,<n id="1" /> because I am perplexed about you.p>

You who are trying to be declared righteous<n id="1" /> by the law have been alienated<n id="2" /> from Christ; you have fallen away from grace!
