Therefore, remember what you received and heard, ¹  and obey it, ²  and repent. If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will never ³  know at what hour I will come against ⁴  you.

The one who conquers ¹  will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be my son.

Then ¹  I looked, and here was ²  the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him were one hundred and forty-four thousand, who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.

The beast ¹  was permitted to go to war against the saints and conquer them. ²  He was given ruling authority ³  over every tribe, people, ⁴  language, and nation,

Then ¹  the kings of the earth, the ²  very important people, the generals, ³  the rich, the powerful, and everyone, slave ⁴  and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.

and a third of the creatures ¹  living in the sea died, and a third of the ships were completely destroyed. ² 

They have ¹  tails and stingers like scorpions, and their ability ²  to injure people for five months is in their tails.

Then ¹  I heard every creature – in heaven, on earth, under the earth, in the sea, and all that is in them – singing: ²  “To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb be praise, honor, glory, and ruling power ³  forever and ever!”

saying: “Write in a book what you see and send it to the seven churches – to Ephesus, ¹  Smyrna, ²  Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.”

The ¹  nations ²  were enraged, but ³  your wrath has come, and the time has come for the dead to be judged, and the time has come to give to your servants, ⁴  the prophets, their reward, as well as to the saints and to those who revere ⁵  your name, both small and great, and the time has come ⁶  to destroy those who destroy ⁷  the earth.”

Then ¹  the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it on the earth, and there were crashes of thunder, roaring, ²  flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.

They will make war with the Lamb, but the Lamb will conquer them, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those accompanying ¹  the Lamb are the called, chosen, and faithful.”

Then ¹  I saw a large ²  white throne and the one who was seated on it; the earth and the heaven ³  fled ⁴  from his presence, and no place was found for them.

Then ¹  I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to do battle with the one who rode the horse and with his army.

The sky ¹  was split apart ²  like a scroll being rolled up, ³  and every mountain and island was moved from its place.

So ¹  I looked, ²  and here came ³  a white horse! The ⁴  one who rode it ⁵  had a bow, and he was given a crown, ⁶  and as a conqueror ⁷  he rode out to conquer.

Then ¹  the temple of God in heaven was opened and the ark of his covenant was visible within his temple. And there were flashes of lightning, roaring, ²  crashes of thunder, an earthquake, and a great hailstorm. ³ 

He ¹  seized the dragon – the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan – and tied him up for a thousand years.

Just then ¹  a major earthquake took place and a tenth of the city collapsed; seven thousand people ²  were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

So ¹  the first angel ²  went and poured out his bowl on the earth. Then ³  ugly and painful sores ⁴  appeared on the people ⁵  who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image.
