What has been done ¹  on this day the Lord has commanded to be done ²  to make atonement for you.

He must not profane his children among his people, ¹  for I am the Lord who sanctifies him.’”

You must live in temporary shelters ¹  for seven days; every native citizen in Israel must live in temporary shelters,

As for an ox ¹  or a sheep with a limb too long or stunted, ²  you may present it as a freewill offering, but it will not be acceptable for a votive offering. ³ 

“‘When the man with the discharge becomes clean from his discharge he is to count off for himself seven days for his purification, and he must wash his clothes, bathe in fresh water, ¹  and be clean.

the priest is to command that they wash whatever has the infection and quarantine it for another seven days. ¹ 

On the first day you must take for yourselves branches from majestic trees ¹  – palm branches, branches of leafy trees, and willows of the brook – and you must rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.

The land must not be sold without reclaim ¹  because the land belongs to me, for you are foreigners and residents with me. ² 

You must not expose the nakedness of your mother’s sister and your father’s sister, for such a person has laid bare his own close relative. ¹  They must bear their punishment for iniquity. ² 

Even from a foreigner ¹  you must not present the food of your God from such animals as these, for they are ruined and flawed; ²  they will not be acceptable for your benefit.’”

So the priest will make atonement ¹  on his behalf before the Lord and he will be forgiven ²  for whatever he has done to become guilty.” ³ 

He must not go where there is any dead person; ¹  he must not defile himself even for his father and his mother.

for I am the Lord who brought you up from the land of Egypt to be your God, ¹  and you are to be holy because I am holy.

This is the law of the one in whom there is a diseased infection, ¹  who does not have sufficient means for his purification.” ² 

You must not do any work on this particular day, ¹  because it is a day of atonement to make atonement for yourselves ²  before the Lord your God.

You must not lend him your money at interest and you must not sell him food for profit. ¹ 

or his sin that he committed ¹  is made known to him, ²  he must bring a flawless female goat ³  as his offering for the sin ⁴  that he committed.

If the person is from five years old up to twenty years old, the conversion value of the male is twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

If there are still many years, in keeping with them ¹  he must refund most of the cost of his purchase for his redemption,

“‘But if he brings a sheep as his offering, for a sin offering, he must bring a flawless female.
