Therefore, although God has overlooked ¹  such times of ignorance, ²  he now commands all people ³  everywhere to repent, ⁴ 

This is the reason ¹  I do my best to always ²  have a clear ³  conscience toward God and toward people. ⁴ 

For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong ¹  and whom I serve ²  came to me ³ 

proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ ¹  with complete boldness ²  and without restriction. ³ 

Those standing near him ¹  said, “Do you dare insult ²  God’s high priest?”

“Look!” he said. ¹  “I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

So Peter was kept in prison, but those in the church were earnestly ¹  praying to God for him. ² 

From the descendants ¹  of this man ²  God brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, just as he promised. ³ 

“Therefore be advised ¹  that this salvation from God ²  has been sent to the Gentiles; ³  they ⁴  will listen!”

God exalted him ¹  to his right hand as Leader ²  and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. ³ 

And now I stand here on trial ¹  because of my hope in the promise made by God to our ancestors, ² 

Now the apostles and the brothers who were throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles too had accepted ¹  the word of God. ² 

When the meeting of the synagogue ¹  had broken up, ²  many of the Jews and God-fearing proselytes ³  followed Paul and Barnabas, who were speaking with them and were persuading ⁴  them ⁵  to continue ⁶  in the grace of God.

He ¹  jumped up, ²  stood and began walking around, and he entered the temple courts ³  with them, walking and leaping and praising God.

But the things God foretold ¹  long ago through ²  all the prophets – that his Christ ³  would suffer – he has fulfilled in this way.

“But as the time drew near for God to fulfill the promise he had declared to Abraham, ¹  the people increased greatly in number ²  in Egypt,

And God, who knows the heart, ¹  has testified ²  to them by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, ³ 

About midnight Paul and Silas were praying ¹  and singing hymns to God, ²  and the rest of ³  the prisoners were listening to them.

So Paul ¹  entered ²  the synagogue ³  and spoke out fearlessly ⁴  for three months, addressing ⁵  and convincing ⁶  them about the kingdom of God. ⁷ 

When Paul ¹  had greeted them, he began to explain ²  in detail ³  what God ⁴  had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.
