Then Jesus<n id="1" /> asked them again, &#8220;Who are you looking for?&#8221; And they said, &#8220;Jesus the Nazarene.&#8221;

There they<n id="1" /> crucified<n id="2" /> him along with two others,<n id="3" /> one on each side, with Jesus in the middle.

So when Peter saw him,<n id="1" /> he asked Jesus, &#8220;Lord, what about him?&#8221;

Jesus turned around and saw them following and said to them, &#8220;What do you want?&#8221;<n id="1" /> So they said to him, &#8220;Rabbi&#8221; (which is translated Teacher),<n id="2" /> &#8220;where are you staying?&#8221;

When<n id="1" /> the head steward tasted the water that had been turned to wine, not knowing where it came from<n id="2" /> (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), he<n id="3" /> called the bridegroom

<t /><p class="bodytext">Simon Peter and another disciple followed them as they brought Jesus to Annas.<n id="1" /> (Now the other disciple<n id="2" /> was acquainted with the high priest, and he went with Jesus into the high priest&#8217;s courtyard.)<n id="3" />

(Now the slaves<n id="1" /> and the guards<n id="2" /> were standing around a charcoal fire they had made, warming themselves because it was cold.<n id="3" /> Peter also was standing with them, warming himself.)<n id="4" />p>

But he said to them, &#8220;I have food to eat that you know nothing about.&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">While he was on his way down,<n id="1" /> his slaves<n id="2" /> met him and told him that his son was going to live.

Jesus did this as his second miraculous sign<n id="1" /> when he returned from Judea to Galilee.p>

Now there is<n id="1" /> in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate<n id="2" /> a pool called <i>Bethzathai><n id="3" /> in Aramaic,<n id="4" /> which has five covered walkways.<n id="5" />

Now a man was there who had been disabled for thirty-eight years.<n id="1" />

So he<n id="1" /> told<n id="2" /> them, &#8220;My Father is working until now, and I too am working.&#8221;<n id="3" />

(I do not accept<n id="1" /> human testimony, but I say this so that you may be saved.)

A large crowd was following him because they were observing the miraculous signs he was performing on the sick.

When they were all satisfied, Jesus<n id="1" /> said to his disciples, &#8220;Gather up the broken pieces that are left over, so that nothing is wasted.&#8221;

(Now he said this about Judas son of Simon Iscariot,<n id="1" /> for Judas,<n id="2" /> one of the twelve, was going to betray him.)<n id="3" />p>

<p class="bodytext">But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then Jesus<n id="1" /> himself also went up, not openly but in secret.

But we know where this man<n id="1" /> comes from.<n id="2" /> Whenever the Christ<n id="3" /> comes, no one will know where he comes from.&#8221;<n id="4" />p>

Some of them were wanting to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him.<n id="1" />p>
