Peter<n id="1" /> said to him, &#8220;Aeneas, Jesus the Christ<n id="2" /> heals you. Get up and make your own bed!&#8221;<n id="3" /> And immediately he got up.

About three o&#8217;clock one afternoon<n id="1" /> he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God<n id="2" /> who came in<n id="3" /> and said to him, &#8220;Cornelius.&#8221;

So Peter went down<n id="1" /> to the men and said, &#8220;Here I am,<n id="2" /> the person you&#8217;re looking for. Why have you come?&#8221;

So Paul stood up,<n id="1" /> gestured<n id="2" /> with his hand and said,p> <p class="bodytext">&#8220;Men of Israel,<n id="3" /> and you Gentiles who fear God,<n id="4" /> listen:

The Lord said to Paul by a vision<n id="1" /> in the night,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Do not be afraid,<n id="3" /> but speak and do not be silent,

and said to them, &#8220;Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?&#8221;<n id="1" /> They replied,<n id="2" /> &#8220;No, we have not even<n id="3" /> heard that there is a Holy Spirit.&#8221;

But the evil spirit replied to them,<n id="1" /> &#8220;I know about Jesus<n id="2" /> and I am acquainted with<n id="3" /> Paul, but who are you?&#8221;<n id="4" />

He gathered<n id="1" /> these<n id="2" /> together, along with the workmen in similar trades,<n id="3" /> and said, &#8220;Men, you know that our prosperity<n id="4" /> comes from this business.

But Paul went down,<n id="1" /> threw himself<n id="2" /> on the young man,<n id="3" /> put his arms around him,<n id="4" /> and said, &#8220;Do not be distressed, for he is still alive!&#8221;<n id="5" />

I answered, &#8216;Who are you, Lord?&#8217; He said to me, &#8216;I am Jesus the Nazarene, whom you are persecuting.&#8217;

came<n id="1" /> to me and stood beside me<n id="2" /> and said to me, &#8216;Brother Saul, regain your sight!&#8217;<n id="3" /> And at that very moment<n id="4" /> I looked up and saw him.<n id="5" />

I replied,<n id="1" /> &#8216;Lord, they themselves know that I imprisoned and beat those in the various synagogues<n id="2" /> who believed in you.

When they had stretched him out for the lash,<n id="1" /> Paul said to the centurion<n id="2" /> standing nearby, &#8220;Is it legal for you to lash a man who is a Roman citizen<n id="3" /> without a proper trial?&#8221;<n id="4" />

<p class="bodytext">Paul looked directly<n id="1" /> at the council<n id="2" /> and said, &#8220;Brothers, I have lived my life with a clear conscience<n id="3" /> before God to this day.&#8221;

So I said, &#8216;Who are you, Lord?&#8217; And the Lord replied,<n id="1" /> &#8216;I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.

Paul said to the centurion<n id="1" /> and the soldiers, &#8220;Unless these men stay with the ship, you<n id="2" /> cannot be saved.&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Brothers,<n id="1" /> I can speak confidently<n id="2" /> to you about our forefather<n id="3" /> David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

But Peter said, &#8220;I have no silver or gold,<n id="1" /> but what I do have I give you. In the name<n id="2" /> of Jesus Christ<n id="3" /> the Nazarene, stand up and<n id="4" /> walk!&#8221;

Moses said, &#8216;<i><b>The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothersb>. <b>You must obeyb>i><n id="1" /> <b><i>him in everything he tells youi>b>.<n id="2" />

But Peter said, &#8220;Ananias, why has Satan filled<n id="1" /> your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back for yourself part of the proceeds from the sale of<n id="2" /> the land?
