Because you say, &#8220;I am rich and have acquired great wealth,<n id="1" /> and need nothing,&#8221; but<n id="2" /> do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful,<n id="3" /> poor, blind, and naked,

<p class="poetry">Who will not fear you, O Lord,p> <p class="poetry">and glorify<n id="1" /> your name, because you alone are holy?<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">All nations<n id="3" /> will come and worship before youp> <p class="poetry">for your righteous acts<n id="4" /> have been revealed.&#8221;p>

not by earth, because it is his footstool, and not by Jerusalem,<n id="1" /> because it is the city of the great King.

The experts in the law<n id="1" /> who came down from Jerusalem<n id="2" /> said, &#8220;He is possessed by Beelzebul,&#8221;<n id="3" /> and, &#8220;By the ruler<n id="4" /> of demons he casts out demons.&#8221;

But Jesus<n id="1" /> said to them, &#8220;I must<n id="2" /> proclaim the good news of the kingdom<n id="3" /> of God to the other towns<n id="4" /> too, for that is what I was sent<n id="5" /> to do.&#8221;<n id="6" />

Nevertheless, do not rejoice that<n id="1" /> the spirits submit to you, but rejoice<n id="2" /> that your names stand written<n id="3" /> in heaven.&#8221;p>

He<n id="1" /> answered them, &#8220;Do you think these Galileans were worse sinners<n id="2" /> than all the other Galileans, because they suffered these things?

Jesus said to him,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these.&#8221;<n id="2" />

You yourselves can testify that I said, &#8216;I am not the Christ,&#8217;<n id="1" /> but rather, &#8216;I have been sent before him.&#8217;

The world cannot hate you, but it hates me, because I am testifying about it that its deeds are evil.
