I tell you the truth,<n id="1" /> people will be forgiven for all sins, even all the blasphemies they utter.<n id="2" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">He also said to them, &#8220;A lamp<n id="1" /> isn&#8217;t brought to be put under a basket<n id="2" /> or under a bed, is it? Isn&#8217;t it to be placed on a lampstand?

They were overwhelmed by fear and said to one another, &#8220;Who then is this?<n id="1" /> Even the wind and sea obey him!&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

He asked him urgently, &#8220;My little daughter is near death. Come and lay your hands on her so that she may be healed and live.&#8221;

At once the bleeding stopped,<n id="1" /> and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.

<p class="bodytext">While he was still speaking, people came from the synagogue ruler&#8217;s<n id="1" /> house saying, &#8220;Your daughter has died. Why trouble the teacher any longer?&#8221;

As Jesus<n id="1" /> came ashore<n id="2" /> he saw the large crowd and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So<n id="3" /> he taught them many things.p>

<p class="bodytext">When it was already late, his disciples came to him and said, &#8220;This is an isolated place<n id="1" /> and it is already very late.

They ran through that whole region and began to bring the sick on mats to wherever he was rumored to be.<n id="1" />

He said to them, &#8220;Are you so foolish? Don&#8217;t you understand that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him?

For it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and then goes out into the sewer.&#8221;<n id="1" /> (This means all foods are clean.)<n id="2" />

When he learned of this,<n id="1" /> Jesus said to them, &#8220;Why are you arguing<n id="2" /> about having no bread? Do you still not see or understand? Have your hearts been hardened?

<p class="bodytext">Then,<n id="1" /> after he went into the house, his disciples asked him privately, &#8220;Why couldn&#8217;t we cast it out?&#8221;

<t /><p class="bodytext">John said to him, &#8220;Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him because he was not following us.&#8221;

When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to shout,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Jesus, Son of David,<n id="2" /> have mercy<n id="3" /> on me!&#8221;

For this reason I tell you, whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

He had one left, his one dear son.<n id="1" /> Finally he sent him to them, saying, &#8216;They will respect my son.&#8217;

But those tenants said to one another, &#8216;This is the heir. Come, let&#8217;s kill him and the inheritance will be ours!&#8217;

<p class="bodyblock">Now<n id="1" /> they wanted to arrest him (but they feared the crowd), because they realized that he told this parable against them. So<n id="2" /> they left him and went away.<n id="3" />p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> one of the experts in the law<n id="2" /> came and heard them debating. When he saw that Jesus<n id="3" /> answered them well, he asked him, &#8220;Which commandment is the most important of all?&#8221;
