Now without dispute the inferior is blessed by the superior,

But each one is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desires.

But if you show prejudice, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as violators.<n id="1" />

and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man in anguish over the debauched lifestyle of lawless<n id="1" /> men,<n id="2" />

For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me.<n id="1" /> I say to this one, &#8216;Go&#8217; and he goes,<n id="2" /> and to another &#8216;Come&#8217; and he comes, and to my slave<n id="3" /> &#8216;Do this&#8217; and he does it.&#8221;<n id="4" />

This all happened so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled:

You will be betrayed even by parents,<n id="1" /> brothers, relatives,<n id="2" /> and friends, and they will have some of you put to death.

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;But when you see Jerusalem<n id="1" /> surrounded<n id="2" /> by armies, then know that its<n id="3" /> desolation<n id="4" /> has come near.
