His disciples answered him, “Where can someone get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy these people?”

He told them, &#8220;This kind can come out only by prayer.&#8221;<n id="1" />p>

But Jesus said to them, &#8220;He wrote this commandment for you because of your hard hearts.<n id="1" />

He sent another, and that one they killed. This happened to many others, some of whom were beaten, others killed.

The second is: &#8216;<b><i>Love your neighbor as yourselfi>b>.&#8217;<n id="1" /> There is no other commandment greater than these.&#8221;

They<n id="1" /> devour widows&#8217; property,<n id="2" /> and as a show make long prayers. These men will receive a more severe punishment.&#8221;p>

You will be hated by everyone because of my name.<n id="1" /> But the one who endures to the end will be saved.<n id="2" />p>

But some who were present indignantly said to one another, &#8220;Why this waste of expensive<n id="1" /> ointment?

It<n id="1" /> could have been sold for more than three hundred silver coins<n id="2" /> and the money<n id="3" /> given to the poor!&#8221; So<n id="4" /> they spoke angrily to her.

He said to them, &#8220;This is my blood, the blood<n id="1" /> of the covenant,<n id="2" /> that is poured out for many.

When the slave girl saw him, she began again to say to the bystanders, &#8220;This man is one of them.&#8221;

Then he began to curse, and he swore with an oath, &#8220;I do not know this man you are talking about!&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">After this he appeared in a different form to two of them while they were on their way to the country.

These signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;<n id="1" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> in those days Jesus came from Nazareth<n id="2" /> in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan River.<n id="3" />

Now<n id="1" /> immediately, when Jesus realized in his spirit that they were contemplating such thoughts,<n id="2" /> he said to them, &#8220;Why are you thinking such things in your hearts?<n id="3" />

But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but is guilty of an eternal sin&#8221;<n id="1" />

He said to them, &#8220;The secret<n id="1" /> of the kingdom of God has been given<n id="2" /> to you. But to those outside, everything is in parables,p>

These are the ones sown on rocky ground: As soon as they hear the word, they receive it with joy.

They were overwhelmed by fear and said to one another, &#8220;Who then is this?<n id="1" /> Even the wind and sea obey him!&#8221;<n id="2" />p>
