And such a large crowd gathered around him that he got into a boat to sit while<n id="1" /> the whole crowd stood on the shore.

Other<n id="1" /> seeds fell on rocky ground<n id="2" /> where they did not have much soil. They sprang up quickly because the soil was not deep.<n id="3" />

But other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty.

The<n id="1" /> seed sown on rocky ground<n id="2" /> is the person who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy.

When it was full, they pulled it ashore, sat down, and put the good fish into containers and threw the bad away.

Instructed by her mother, she said, &#8220;Give me the head of John the Baptist here on a platter.&#8221;

When<n id="1" /> the disciples saw him walking on the water<n id="2" /> they were terrified and said, &#8220;It&#8217;s a ghost!&#8221; and cried out with fear.

Peter<n id="1" /> said to him,<n id="2" /> &#8220;Lord, if it is you, order me to come to you on the water.&#8221;

So he said, &#8220;Come.&#8221; Peter got out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus.

And if he finds it, I tell you the truth,<n id="1" /> he will rejoice more over it than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.

But if he does not listen, take one or two others with you, so that <b><i>at the testimony of two or three witnesses every matter may be establishedi>b>.<n id="1" />
