Then they picked up<n id="1" /> stones to throw at him,<n id="2" /> but Jesus hid himself and went out from the temple area.<n id="3" />p>

(Now the day on which Jesus made the mud<n id="1" /> and caused him to see<n id="2" /> was a Sabbath.)<n id="3" />

Jesus told him, &#8220;You have seen him; he<n id="1" /> is the one speaking with you.&#8221;<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">So Jesus said to them again, &#8220;I tell you the solemn truth,<n id="1" /> I am the door for the sheep.<n id="2" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">When<n id="1" /> Jesus arrived,<n id="2" /> he found that Lazarus<n id="3" /> had been in the tomb four days already.<n id="4" />

So when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet him, but Mary was sitting in the house.<n id="1" />

Jesus responded,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Didn&#8217;t I tell you that if you believe, you would see the glory of God?&#8221;

But some of them went to the Pharisees<n id="1" /> and reported to them<n id="2" /> what Jesus had done.

So Jesus said, &#8220;Leave her alone. She has kept it for the day of my burial.<n id="1" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">The next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem.<n id="1" />

Jesus replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;The time<n id="2" /> has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.<n id="3" />

Jesus said,<n id="1" /> &#8220;This voice has not come for my benefit<n id="2" /> but for yours.

<p class="bodytext">Then Jesus, because he knew everything that was going to happen to him,<n id="1" /> came and asked them, &#8220;Who are you looking for?&#8221;<n id="2" />

Jesus replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;I told you that I am he. If you are looking for<n id="2" /> me, let these men<n id="3" /> go.&#8221;<n id="4" />

Jesus replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;If I have said something wrong,<n id="2" /> confirm<n id="3" /> what is wrong.<n id="4" /> But if I spoke correctly, why strike me?&#8221;

Jesus replied,<n id="1" /> &#8220;Are you saying this on your own initiative,<n id="2" /> or have others told you about me?&#8221;

<t /><p class="bodytext">After this Jesus, realizing that by this time<n id="1" /> everything was completed,<n id="2" /> said (in order to fulfill the scripture),<n id="3" /> &#8220;I am thirsty!&#8221;<n id="4" />

Jesus said to her, &#8220;Mary.&#8221; She<n id="1" /> turned and said to him in Aramaic,<n id="2" /> &#8220;<i>Rabbonii>&#8221;<n id="3" /> (which means Teacher).<n id="4" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now Thomas (called Didymus),<n id="1" /> one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.

Jesus said to him, &#8220;Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are the people<n id="1" /> who have not seen and yet have believed.&#8221;<n id="2" />p>
