But they were filled with mindless rage<n id="1" /> and began debating with one another what they would do<n id="2" /> to Jesus.p>

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now when Jesus returned,<n id="1" /> the crowd welcomed him, because they were all waiting for him.

For everyone who asks<n id="1" /> receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door<n id="2" /> will be opened.

But some of them said, &#8220;By the power of Beelzebul,<n id="1" /> the ruler<n id="2" /> of demons, he casts out demons.&#8221;

<t /><p class="bodytext">As he spoke,<n id="1" /> a Pharisee<n id="2" /> invited Jesus<n id="3" /> to have a meal with him, so he went in and took his place at the table.<n id="4" />

If then you haven&#8217;t been trustworthy<n id="1" /> in handling worldly wealth,<n id="2" /> who will entrust you with the true riches?<n id="3" />

And if you haven&#8217;t been trustworthy<n id="1" /> with someone else&#8217;s property,<n id="2" /> who will give you your own<n id="3" />?

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now on<n id="1" /> the way to Jerusalem,<n id="2" /> Jesus<n id="3" /> was passing along<n id="4" /> between Samaria and Galilee.

<t /><p class="bodytext">As<n id="1" /> Jesus<n id="2" /> approached<n id="3" /> Jericho,<n id="4" /> a blind man was sitting by the road begging.

So<n id="1" /> he said to them, &#8220;Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar&#8217;s, and to God the things that are God&#8217;s.&#8221;<n id="2" />

For David himself says in the book of Psalms,p> <p class="otpoetry">&#8216;<b><i>The Lord said to myi>b><n id="1" /> <b><i>lord,i>b>p> <p class="otpoetry">&#8220;<b><i>Sit at my right hand,i>b>p>

Then<n id="1" /> Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, &#8220;I find no basis for an accusation<n id="2" /> against this man.&#8221;

While<n id="1" /> they were talking and debating<n id="2" /> these things,<n id="3" /> Jesus himself approached and began to accompany them

and repentance<n id="1" /> for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed<n id="2" /> in his name to all nations,<n id="3" /> beginning from Jerusalem.<n id="4" />

Now<n id="1" /> during the blessing<n id="2" /> he departed<n id="3" /> and was taken up into heaven.<n id="4" />

<p class="bodytext">On<n id="1" /> the eighth day<n id="2" /> they came to circumcise the child, and they wanted to name<n id="3" /> him Zechariah after his father.

But the angel said to them, &#8220;Do not be afraid! Listen carefully,<n id="1" /> for I proclaim to you good news<n id="2" /> that brings great joy to all the people:

<t /><p class="bodytext">Now<n id="1" /> when the time came for their<n id="2" /> purification according to the law of Moses, Joseph and Mary<n id="3" /> brought Jesus<n id="4" /> up to Jerusalem<n id="5" /> to present him to the Lord

At that moment,<n id="1" /> she came up to them<n id="2" /> and began to give thanks to God and to speak<n id="3" /> about the child<n id="4" /> to all who were waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem.<n id="5" />p>

But<n id="1" /> when the feast was over,<n id="2" /> as they were returning home,<n id="3" /> the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His<n id="4" /> parents<n id="5" /> did not know it,
