You also lived your lives<n id="1" /> in this way at one time, when you used to live among them.

For you are our glory and joy!p>

<p class="bodytext">And as you Philippians know, at the beginning of my gospel ministry, when I left Macedonia, no church shared with me in this matter of giving and receiving except you alone.

For you became imitators, brothers and sisters,<n id="1" /> of God&#8217;s churches in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, because you too suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they in fact did from the Jews,

<p class="bodytext">As for you, what you have heard from the beginning must remain<n id="1" /> in you. If what you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.

You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill cannot be hidden.

So pray this way:<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">Our Father<n id="2" /> in heaven, may your name be honored,<n id="3" />p>

For it is not you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.p>

But he<n id="1" /> replied, &#8220;They don&#8217;t need to go. You<n id="2" /> give them something to eat.&#8221;

He said to them, &#8216;You go into the vineyard too, and I will give you whatever is right.&#8217;

They said to him, &#8216;Because no one hired us.&#8217; He said to them, &#8216;You go and work in the vineyard too.&#8217;

In the same way, on the outside you look righteous to people, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.p>

So also you, when you see all these things, know<n id="1" /> that he is near, right at the door.

Therefore you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.<n id="1" />p>

So<n id="1" /> do not be overly concerned about<n id="2" /> what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not worry about such things.<n id="3" />

So also you, when you see these things happening, know<n id="1" /> that the kingdom of God<n id="2" /> is near.
