My eye will not pity you; I will not spare<n id="1" /> you.<n id="2" /> For I will hold you responsible for your behavior,<n id="3" /> and you will suffer the consequences of your abominable practices.<n id="4" /> Then you will know that I am the <sc>Lordsc>!p>

Soon now I will pour out my rage<n id="1" /> on you; I will fully vent my anger against you. I will judge you according to your behavior. I will hold you accountable for all your abominable practices.

My eye will not pity you; I will not spare<n id="1" /> you. For your behavior I will hold you accountable,<n id="2" /> and you will suffer the consequences of your abominable practices. Then you will know that it is I, the <sc>Lord,sc> who is striking you.<n id="3" />p>

The king will mourn and the prince will be clothed with shuddering; the hands of the people of the land will tremble. Based on their behavior I will deal with them, and by their standard of justice<n id="1" /> I will judge them. Then they will know that I am the <sc>Lordsc>!&#8221;p>

This is because you have disheartened the righteous person with lies (although I have not grieved him), and because you have encouraged the wicked person not to turn from his evil conduct and preserve his life.

At the head of every street you erected your pavilion and you disgraced<n id="1" /> your beauty when you spread<n id="2" /> your legs to every passerby and multiplied your promiscuity.

So see here, I have stretched out my hand against you and cut off your rations. I have delivered you into the power of those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who were ashamed by your obscene conduct.

When you built your chamber at the head of every street and put up your pavilion in every public square, you were not like a prostitute, because you scoffed at payment.<n id="1" />p>

Then you will remember your conduct, and be ashamed when you receive your older and younger sisters. I will give them to you as daughters, but not on account of my covenant with you.

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;Therefore say to the house of Israel, &#8216;This is what the sovereign <sc>Lordsc> says: Will you defile yourselves like your fathers<n id="1" /> and engage in prostitution with detestable idols?

And there you will remember your conduct<n id="1" /> and all your deeds by which you defiled yourselves. You will despise yourselves<n id="2" /> because of all the evil deeds you have done.

Then you will know that I am the <sc>Lordsc>, when I deal with you for the sake of my reputation and not according to your wicked conduct and corrupt deeds, O house of Israel, declares the sovereign <sc>Lordsc>.&#8217;&#8221;p>

&#8220;Son of man, turn toward<n id="1" /> the south,<n id="2" /> and speak out against the south.<n id="3" /> Prophesy against the open scrub<n id="4" /> land of the Negev,

Mark out the routes for the sword to take: &#8220;Rabbah of the Ammonites&#8221; and &#8220;Judah with Jerusalem in it.&#8221;<n id="1" />

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;I the <sc>Lordsc> have spoken; judgment<n id="1" /> is coming and I will act! I will not relent, or show pity, or be sorry!<n id="2" /> I will judge you<n id="3" /> according to your conduct<n id="4" /> and your deeds, declares the sovereign <sc>Lordsc>.&#8217;&#8221;p>

When I say to the wicked, &#8216;O wicked man, you must certainly die,&#8217;<n id="1" /> and you do not warn<n id="2" /> the wicked about his behavior,<n id="3" /> the wicked man will die for his iniquity, but I will hold you accountable for his death.<n id="4" />

Then you will remember your evil behavior<n id="1" /> and your deeds which were not good; you will loathe yourselves on account of your sins and your abominable deeds.

Understand that<n id="1" /> it is not for your sake I am about to act, declares the sovereign <sc>Lordsc>. Be ashamed and embarrassed by your behavior, O house of Israel.p>

There were three alcoves on each side of the east gate; the three had the same measurement, and the jambs on either side had the same measurement.<n id="1" />

Its windows, its porches, and its decorative palm trees had the same measurement as the gate which faced east. Seven steps led up to it, and its porch was in front of them.
