lay his hand on its head, and slaughter it before the Meeting Tent, and the sons of Aaron must splash its blood against the altar’s sides.

Then the priest<n id="1" /> must offer all of its fat up in smoke on the altar like the fat of the peace offering sacrifice. So the priest will make atonement<n id="2" /> on his behalf for<n id="3" /> his sin and he will be forgiven.<n id="4" />p>

He must bring it to the priest and the priest must scoop out from it a handful as its memorial portion<n id="1" /> and offer it up in smoke on the altar on top of the other gifts of the <sc>Lordsc> &#8211; it is a sin offering.

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;This is the law of the grain offering. The sons of Aaron are to present it<n id="1" /> before the <sc>Lordsc> in front of the altar,

In the place where they slaughter the burnt offering they must slaughter the guilt offering, and the officiating priest<n id="1" /> must splash<n id="2" /> the blood against the altar&#8217;s sides.

Then he<n id="1" /> took all the fat on the entrails, the protruding lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and their fat,<n id="2" /> and Moses offered it all up in smoke on the altar,<n id="3" />

Moses then took them from their palms and offered them up in smoke on the altar<n id="1" /> on top of the burnt offering &#8211; they were an ordination offering for a soothing aroma; it was a gift to the <sc>Lordsc>.

and take a censer full of coals of fire from the altar before the <sc>Lordsc><n id="1" /> and a full double handful of finely ground fragrant incense,<n id="2" /> and bring them inside the veil-canopy.<n id="3" />

for the life of every living thing<n id="1" /> is in the blood.<n id="2" /> So I myself have assigned it to you<n id="3" /> on the altar to make atonement for your lives, for the blood makes atonement by means of the life.<n id="4" />

Then he must bring it to the sons of Aaron, the priests, and the priest<n id="1" /> must scoop out from there a handful of its choice wheat flour and some of its olive oil in addition to all of its frankincense, and the priest must offer its memorial portion<n id="2" /> up in smoke on the altar &#8211; it is<n id="3" /> a gift of a soothing aroma to the <sc>Lordsc>.

He must lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it before the Meeting Tent, and the sons of Aaron must splash<n id="1" /> its blood against the altar&#8217;s sides.

Then he must remove all of its fat (just as fat was removed from the peace offering sacrifice) and the priest must offer it up in smoke on the altar for a soothing aroma to the <sc>Lordsc>. So the priest will make atonement<n id="1" /> on his behalf and he will be forgiven.<n id="2" />p>
