<p class="poetry">lest I become satisfied and act deceptively<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">and say, &#8220;Who is the <sc>Lordsc>?&#8221;p> <p class="poetry">Or lest I become poor and stealp> <p class="poetry">and demean<n id="2" /> the name of my God.p>

<p class="poetry">lest they drink and forget what is decreed,p> <p class="poetry">and remove<n id="1" /> from all the poor<n id="2" /> their legal rights.<n id="3" />p>

But Jacob did not send Joseph&#8217;s brother Benjamin with his brothers,<n id="1" /> for he said,<n id="2" /> &#8220;What if some accident<n id="3" /> happens<n id="4" /> to him?&#8221;

For how can I go back to my father if the boy is not with me? I couldn&#8217;t bear to see<n id="1" /> my father&#8217;s pain.&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

I will provide you with food<n id="1" /> there because there will be five more years of famine. Otherwise you would become poor &#8211; you, your household, and everyone who belongs to you.&#8221;&#8217;

The <sc>Lordsc> said to Moses, &#8220;Go down and solemnly warn<n id="1" /> the people, lest they force their way through to the <sc>Lordsc> to look, and many of them perish.<n id="2" />

I will not drive them out before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild animals<n id="1" /> multiply against you.

They must not live in your land, lest they make you sin against me, for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare<n id="1" /> to you.&#8221;p>

Go up<n id="1" /> to a land flowing with milk and honey. But<n id="2" /> I will not go up among you, for you are a stiff-necked people, and I might destroy you<n id="3" /> on the way.&#8221;p>

Be careful<n id="1" /> not to make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, for when<n id="2" /> they prostitute themselves<n id="3" /> to their gods and sacrifice to their gods, and someone invites you,<n id="4" /> you will eat from his sacrifice;

but you must not go out from the entrance of the Meeting Tent lest you die, for the Lord&#8217;s anointing oil is on you.&#8221; So they acted according to the word of Moses.p>
