The robe<n id="1" /> is to be on Aaron as he ministers,<n id="2" /> and his sound will be heard<n id="3" /> when he enters the Holy Place before the <sc>Lordsc> and when he leaves, so that he does not die.p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;You are to clothe them &#8211; your brother Aaron and his sons with him &#8211; and anoint them<n id="1" /> and ordain them<n id="2" /> and set them apart as holy,<n id="3" /> so that they may minister as my priests.

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;You are to present the bull at the front of the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons are to put<n id="1" /> their hands on the head<n id="2" /> of the bull.

You are to put all these<n id="1" /> in Aaron&#8217;s hands<n id="2" /> and in his sons&#8217; hands, and you are to wave them as a wave offering<n id="3" /> before the <sc>Lordsc>.

Aaron and his sons are to eat the meat of the ram and the bread that was in the basket at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;So I will set apart as holy<n id="1" /> the tent of meeting and the altar, and I will set apart as holy Aaron and his sons, that they may minister as priests to me.

Aaron is to make atonement on its horns once in the year with some of the blood of the sin offering for atonement;<n id="1" /> once in the year<n id="2" /> he is to make atonement on it throughout your generations. It is most holy to the <sc>Lordsc>.&#8221;<n id="3" />p>

<p class="bodytext">So Aaron said to them, &#8220;Break off the gold earrings that are on the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.&#8221;<n id="1" />

<p class="bodytext">Moses said to Aaron, &#8220;What did this people do to you, that you have brought on them so great a sin?&#8221;

Aaron said, &#8220;Do not let your anger burn hot, my lord;<n id="1" /> you know these people, that they tend to evil.<n id="2" />

When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, the skin of his face shone;<n id="1" /> and they were afraid to approach him.

<t /><p class="bodytext">This is the inventory<n id="1" /> of the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the testimony, which was counted<n id="2" /> by the order<n id="3" /> of Moses, being the work<n id="4" /> of the Levites under the direction<n id="5" /> of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.

<p class="bodytext">Then the <sc>Lordsc> became angry with<n id="1" /> Moses, and he said, &#8220;What about<n id="2" /> your brother Aaron the Levite?<n id="3" /> I know that he can speak very well.<n id="4" /> Moreover, he is coming<n id="5" /> to meet you, and when he sees you he will be glad in his heart.<n id="6" />p>

<p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> spoke<n id="1" /> to Moses and Aaron and gave them a charge<n id="2" /> for the Israelites and Pharaoh king of Egypt to bring the Israelites out of the land of Egypt.p>

<p class="bodytext">Amram married<n id="1" /> his father&#8217;s sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aaron and Moses. (The length of Amram&#8217;s life was 137 years.)p>

<p class="bodytext">Aaron married Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab and sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.p>

&#8220;When Pharaoh says to you, &#8216;Do<n id="1" /> a miracle,&#8217; and you say to Aaron, &#8216;Take your staff and throw it down<n id="2" /> before Pharaoh,&#8217; it will become<n id="3" /> a snake.&#8221;

When<n id="1" /> Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh, they did so, just as the <sc>Lordsc> had commanded them &#8211; Aaron threw<n id="2" /> down his staff before Pharaoh and his servants and it became a snake.<n id="3" />

<p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> spoke to Moses, &#8220;Tell Aaron, &#8216;Extend your hand with your staff<n id="1" /> over the rivers, over the canals, and over the ponds, and bring the frogs up over the land of Egypt.&#8217;&#8221;

<t /><n id="1" /><p class="bodytext">The <sc>Lordsc> said to Moses, &#8220;Tell Aaron, &#8216;Extend your staff and strike the dust of the ground, and it will become<n id="2" /> gnats<n id="3" /> throughout all the land of Egypt.&#8217;&#8221;
