The bull of the sin offering and the goat of the sin offering, whose blood was brought to make atonement in the holy place, must be brought outside the camp<n id="1" /> and their hide, their flesh, and their dung must be burned up,<n id="2" />

<p class="bodytext">Then Moses spoke to the Israelites and they brought the one who cursed outside the camp and stoned him with stones. So the Israelites did just as the <sc>Lordsc> had commanded Moses.p>

The <sc>Lordsc> said to Moses, &#8220;If her father had only spit<n id="1" /> in her face, would she not have been disgraced for seven days? Shut her out from the camp seven days, and afterward she can be brought back in again.&#8221;p>

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;&#8216;Then a man who is ceremonially clean must gather up the ashes of the red heifer and put them in a ceremonially clean place outside the camp. They must be kept<n id="1" /> for the community of the Israelites for use in the water of purification<n id="2" /> &#8211; it is a purification for sin.<n id="3" />

<t /><p class="bodytext">&#8220;Any of you who has killed anyone or touched any of the dead, remain outside the camp for seven days; purify yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day.

<p class="bodytext">&#8220;You must measure<n id="1" /> from outside the wall of the town on the east 1,000 yards,<n id="2" /> and on the south side 1,000 yards, and on the west side 1,000 yards, and on the north side 1,000 yards, with the town in the middle.<n id="3" /> This territory must belong to them as grazing land for the towns.

If there is someone among you who is impure because of some nocturnal emission,<n id="1" /> he must leave the camp; he may not reenter it immediately.

So the young spies went and brought out Rahab, her father, mother, brothers, and all who belonged to her. They brought out her whole family and took them to a place outside<n id="1" /> the Israelite camp.

The two villains arrived and sat opposite him. Then the villains testified against Naboth right before the people, saying, &#8220;Naboth cursed God and the king.&#8221; So they dragged him<n id="1" /> outside the city and stoned him to death.<n id="2" />

He removed the Asherah pole from the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s temple and took it outside Jerusalem to the Kidron Valley, where he burned it.<n id="1" /> He smashed it to dust and then threw the dust in the public graveyard.<n id="2" />

Then King Zedekiah ordered that Jeremiah be committed to the courtyard of the guardhouse. He also ordered that a loaf of bread<n id="1" /> be given to him every day from the baker&#8217;s street until all the bread in the city was gone. So Jeremiah was kept<n id="2" /> in the courtyard of the guardhouse.p>

<p class="bodytext">I saw<n id="1" /> a wall all around the outside of the temple.<n id="2" /> In the man&#8217;s hand was a measuring stick 10½ feet<n id="3" /> long. He measured the thickness of the wall<n id="4" /> as 10½ feet,<n id="5" /> and its height as 10½ feet.

The prince will enter by way of the porch of the gate from the outside, and will stand by the doorpost of the gate. The priests will provide his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he will bow down at the threshold of the gate and then go out. But the gate will not be closed until evening.

<p class="bodytext">The king ordered Hilkiah the high priest, the high-ranking priests,<n id="1" /> and the guards<n id="2" /> to bring out of the <sc>Lordsc>&#8217;s temple all the items that were used in the worship of<n id="3" /> Baal, Asherah, and all the stars of the sky.<n id="4" /> The king<n id="5" /> burned them outside of Jerusalem in the terraces<n id="6" /> of Kidron, and carried their ashes to Bethel.<n id="7" />

that the <sc>Lord,sc> the God of Israel, says,<n id="1" /> &#8216;The forces at your disposal<n id="2" /> are now outside the walls fighting against King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon and the Babylonians<n id="3" /> who have you under siege. I will gather those forces back inside the city.<n id="4" />
