You loyal followers of the Lord, ¹  praise him! All you descendants of Jacob, honor him! All you descendants of Israel, stand in awe of him! ² 

You, O Lord God, the invincible warrior, ¹  the God of Israel, rouse yourself and punish ²  all the nations! Have no mercy on any treacherous evildoers! (Selah)

the earth shakes, yes, the heavens pour down rain before God, the God of Sinai, ¹  before God, the God of Israel. ² 

You are awe-inspiring, O God, as you emerge from your holy temple! ¹  It is the God of Israel ²  who gives the people power and strength. God deserves praise! ³ 

Let none who rely on you be disgraced because of me, O sovereign Lord and king! ¹  Let none who seek you be ashamed because of me, O God of Israel!

For the music director; according to the shushan-eduth style; ²  a psalm of Asaph. O shepherd of Israel, pay attention, you who lead Joseph like a flock of sheep! You who sit enthroned above the winged angels, ³  reveal your splendor! ⁴ 

The Lord God of Israel deserves praise, ¹  in the future and forevermore. ²  Let all the people say, “We agree! ³  Praise the Lord!” ⁴
