<p class="bodytext">When Israel saw Joseph&#8217;s sons, he asked, &#8220;Who are these?&#8221;

<p class="bodytext">Then he uttered this oracle:p> <p class="poetry">&#8220;O, who will survive when God does this!<n id="1" />p>

The king said, &#8220;Find out whose son this boy is!&#8221;p>

He asked me, &#8216;Who are you?&#8217; I told him, &#8216;I&#8217;m<n id="1" /> an Amalekite.&#8217;

<p class="poetry">&#8220;If someone<n id="1" /> should attempt<n id="2" /> a word with you,p> <p class="poetry">will you be impatient?<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">But who can refrain from speaking<n id="4" />?p>

<p class="poetry">&#8220;Call now!<n id="1" /> Is there anyone who will answer you?<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">To which of the holy ones<n id="3" /> will you turn?<n id="4" />p>

<p class="poetry">He is wise in heart<n id="1" /> and mighty<n id="2" /> in strength<n id="3" /> &#8211;p> <p class="poetry">who has resisted<n id="4" /> him and remained safe?<n id="5" />p>

<p class="poetry">If it is a matter of strength,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">most certainly<n id="2" /> he is the strong one!p> <p class="poetry">And if it is a matter of justice,p> <p class="poetry">he will say, &#8216;Who will summon me?&#8217;<n id="3" />p>

<p class="poetry">But if only God would speak,<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">if only he would open his lips against you,<n id="2" />p>

<p class="poetry">If only you would keep completely silent!<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">For you, that would be wisdom.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="poetry">Who<n id="1" /> will contend with me?p> <p class="poetry">If anyone can, I will be silent and die.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="poetry">Make then my pledge<n id="1" /> with you.p> <p class="poetry">Who else will put up security for me?<n id="2" />p>

<p class="poetry">O that I knew<n id="1" /> where I might find him,<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">that I could come<n id="3" /> to his place of residence!<n id="4" />p>

<p class="poetry">&#8220;If this is not so, who can prove me a liarp> <p class="poetry">and reduce my words to nothing?&#8221;<n id="1" />p>

<p class="poetry">Can his armies be numbered?<n id="1" />p> <p class="poetry">On whom does his light<n id="2" /> not rise?p>

<p class="poetry">&#8220;O that I could be<n id="1" /> as<n id="2" /> I wasp> <p class="poetry">in the months now gone,<n id="3" />p> <p class="poetry">in the days<n id="4" /> when God watched<n id="5" /> over me,p>

<p class="poetry">Who entrusted<n id="1" /> to him the earth?p> <p class="poetry">And who put him over<n id="2" /> the whole world?p>

<p class="poetry">Indeed, God is exalted in his power;p> <p class="poetry">who is a teacher<n id="1" /> like him?p>
