It is to be a Sabbath of complete rest for you, and you must humble yourselves. ¹  It is a perpetual statute. ² 

It must not be baked with yeast. ¹  I have given it as their portion from my gifts. It is most holy, ²  like the sin offering and the guilt offering.

“When an ox, lamb, or goat is born, it must be under the care of ¹  its mother seven days, but from the eighth day onward it will be acceptable as an offering gift ²  to the Lord.

“‘If a man consecrates his house as holy to the Lord, the priest will establish its conversion value, whether good or bad. Just as the priest establishes its conversion value, thus it will stand. ¹ 

and he slaughtered it. ¹  Moses then took some of its blood and put it on Aaron’s right earlobe, ²  on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe ³  of his right foot.

“‘Then the land will make up for ¹  its Sabbaths all the days it lies desolate while you are in the land of your enemies; then the land will rest and make up its Sabbaths.

Next, the one presenting the offering ¹  must cut it into parts, with its head and its suet, and the priest must arrange them on the wood which is in the fire, on the altar.

If it is not redeemed before the full calendar year is ended, ¹  the house in the walled city ²  will belong without reclaim ³  to the one who bought it throughout his generations; it will not revert in the jubilee.

Anyone who touches its meat must be holy, and whoever spatters some of its blood on a garment, ¹  you must wash ²  whatever he spatters it on in a holy place.

The priest must then examine it on the seventh day, and if it is spreading further ¹  on the skin, then the priest is to pronounce him unclean. It is a diseased infection. ² 

The priest will then examine it, ¹  and if ²  it appears to be deeper than the skin ³  and its hair has turned white, then the priest is to pronounce the person unclean. ⁴  It is a diseased infection that has broken out in the boil. ⁵ 

Aaron and his sons are to eat what is left over from it. It must be eaten unleavened in a holy place; they are to eat it in the courtyard of the Meeting Tent.

“‘You must bring the grain offering that must be made from these to the Lord. Present it to the priest, ¹  and he will bring it to the altar.

but does not bring it to the entrance of the Meeting Tent to offer it ¹  to the Lord – that person will be cut off from his people. ² 

When it reverts ¹  in the jubilee, the field will be holy to the Lord like a permanently dedicated field; ²  it will become the priest’s property. ³ 

He must tear down the house, ¹  its stones, its wood, and all the plaster of the house, and bring all of it ²  outside the city to an unclean place.

It will belong to Aaron and his sons, and they must eat it in a holy place because it is most holy to him, a perpetual allotted portion ¹  from the gifts of the Lord.”

“‘If a man sells a residential house in a walled city, ¹  its right of redemption must extend ²  until one full year from its sale; ³  its right of redemption must extend to a full calendar year. ⁴ 

“‘When you sacrifice a peace offering sacrifice to the Lord, you must sacrifice it so that it is accepted for you. ¹ 

When you sacrifice a thanksgiving offering to the Lord, you must sacrifice it so that it is acceptable for your benefit. ¹
