And all those who knew Jesus ¹  stood at a distance, and the women who had followed him from Galilee saw ²  these things.

While ¹  Jesus ²  was in one of the towns, ³  a man came ⁴  to him who was covered with ⁵  leprosy. ⁶  When ⁷  he saw Jesus, he bowed down with his face to the ground ⁸  and begged him, ⁹  “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

But Jesus ¹  perceived their deceit ²  and said to them,

But ¹  she was greatly troubled ²  by his words and began to wonder about the meaning of this greeting. ³ 

They ¹  found that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb, ² 

When Jesus noticed this, ¹  he said, “How hard ²  it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! ³ 

Then ¹  two men, Moses and Elijah, ²  began talking with him. ³ 

And when Jesus came to that place, he looked up ¹  and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down quickly, ²  because I must ³  stay at your house today.” ⁴ 

Then ¹  some of those who were with us went to the tomb, and found it just as the women had said, but they did not see him.” ² 

So ¹  the people went out to see what had happened, and they came to Jesus. They ²  found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus’ feet, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid.

like the accounts ¹  passed on ²  to us by those who were eyewitnesses and servants of the word ³  from the beginning. ⁴ 

An ¹  angel of the Lord, ²  standing on the right side of the altar of incense, appeared ³  to him.

So they hurried off and located Mary and Joseph, and found the baby lying in a manger. ¹ 

So ¹  when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the slave ²  well.

Those ¹  who had seen it told them how the man who had been demon-possessed had been healed. ² 

But when Jesus discerned their innermost thoughts, ¹  he took a child, had him stand by ²  his side,

When ¹  he got up from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping, exhausted ²  from grief.

While ¹  they were perplexed ²  about this, suddenly ³  two men stood beside them in dazzling ⁴  attire.

After ¹  the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. So ²  they kept silent and told no one ³  at that time ⁴  anything of what they had seen.

Then ¹  they were all astonished at the mighty power ²  of God.But while the entire crowd ³  was amazed at everything Jesus ⁴  was doing, he said to his disciples,
